241 Playback/Editing Select a picture with the group picture icon ([ ], [ ], [ ]), and then press 3. •The same operation can be performed by touching the group picture icon ([ ], [ ], []). •When playing back group pictures one at a time, options are displayed. ∫Operations during Group Pictures playback 1Select a picture with the group display icon ([ ], [ ], [ ]), and then press 4. • The same operation can be performed by touching the group display icon ([ ], [ ], [ ]). 2Press 2/1 to flip through images. • Touch [ ] or press 4 again to return to the normal playback screen. •Each picture in a group can be treated same as normal pictures when they are played back. (Such as Multi Playback, Playback Zoom and deleting images) Playback methods for the 3D pictures can be switched. •This is a menu that is only displayed when 3D playback is possible. 242 Playback/Editing You can play back the pictures you have taken in synchronization with music, and you can do this in sequence while leaving a fixed interval between each of the pictures. You can also put together a slide show composed of only still pictures, only motion pictures, only 3D pictures etc. We recommend this feature when you view your pictures by connecting the camera to a TV. 1Select the menu. 2Select the group to play back by pressing 3/4, and then press [MENU/SET]. • Refer to P313 for the method to play back [3D] pictures in 3D. •During [Category Selection], press 3/4 /2/ 1 to select a category, and then press [MENU/SET]. 243 Playback/Editing ∫Operations during a slide show • Normal playback resumes after the slide show finishes. ∫ Changing the slide show settings You can change the settings for slide show playback by selecting [Effect] or [Setup] on the slide show menu screen. [Effect] This allows you to select the screen effect s when switching from one picture to the next. [AUTO], [NATURAL], [SLOW], [SWING], [URBAN], [OFF] • When [URBAN] has been selected, the picture may appear in black and white as a screen effect. •[AUTO] can be used only when [Category Selection] has been selected. 246 Playback/Editing Using Playback Functions With this menu, you can use various playback functions such as cropping and other editing of recorded images, protect settings, etc. • With [Clear Retouch], [Text Stamp], [Time Lapse Video], [Stop Motion Video], [Resize] or [Cropping], a new edited picture is created. A new picture cannot be created if there is no free space on the card so we recommend checking that there is free space before editing the picture. You can create a single still picture from a recorded motion picture. 1Press 3 to pause motion picture playback. 2Press [MENU/SET]. •The same operation can be performed by touching []. •Confirmation screen is displayed. It is executed when [Yes] is selected. •It will be saved with [Picture Size] set to [S] (2 M), [Aspect Ratio] set to [16:9], and [Quality] set to [›]. •Still pictures created from a motion picture may be coarser than with normal picture quality. •[ ] is displayed during playback of still pictures created from motion pictures. 247 Playback/Editing The location information (longitude/latitude) acquired by the smartphone/tablet can be sent to the camera and written in images. Preparation: Sending location information to the camera from the smartphone/tablet. • You need to install “Panasonic Image App” on your smartphone/tablet. (P269) •Read the [Help] in the “ Image App ” menu for further details on how to operate. 1Select the menu. 2Press 3/4 to select the period you intend to record location information on images, then press [MENU/SET]. • Confirmation screen is displayed. It is executed when [Yes] is selected.•The location information is recorded onto images.•Images with location information are indicated with [ ]. ∫ To pause the recording of location information Press [MENU/SET] while recording of the location information onto images is taking place. • During a suspended period, [ ±] is displayed. Select the period with [ ±] to restart the recording process from the picture you left off. ∫ To delete the received location information 1Select the menu. 2Press 3/4 to select the period you want to delete, then press [MENU/SET]. •Confirmation screen is displayed. It is executed when [Yes] is selected. •Location information can be written only to images taken on this camera. Not available in these cases: • Location information will not be written on pictures taken after the location information had been sent (P276) . •Location information is not written onto the images recorded when [Rec Format] is set to [AVCHD]. •When there is insufficient free space on the card, location information might not be able to be written. •When the card is locked, location information cannot be written onto the images or received location information cannot be deleted. 248 Playback/Editing You can erase unnecessary parts recorded on the pictures taken. •The erasure operation can only be performed by touching. [Clear Retouch] automatically enables the touch operation. 1Select the menu. 2Press 2/1 to select a picture, and then press [MENU/SET].3Drag your finger over the part you want to delete. •The parts to be erased are colored.•Touching [Undo] will return the colored part back to its previous state. 4Touch [Set]. •Preview screen is displayed. 5Touch [Save] or press [MENU/SET]. •Confirmation screen is displayed. It is executed when [Yes] is selected. Exit the menu after it is executed. Removing unnecessary parts [Clear Retouch] [MENU] >[Playback] >[Clear Retouch] Erasing details (enlarging the display) 1 Touch [SCALING]. • The screen is enlarged.•Pinching out/pinching in (P16) the screen allows you to enlarge/reduce it. •Enlarge/reduce can also be performed by rotating the rear dial. •The enlarged part can be moved by dragging the screen or pressing the cursor buttons. 2 Touch [REMOVE]. •Operation returns to that of selecting the parts you want to delete. 249 Playback/Editing •Pictures may appear unnatural because the background of deleted parts is artificially created.•For group pictures, perform [Clear Retouch] on each picture. (They cannot be edited at once.)•When [Clear Retouch] is performed on group pict ures, they are saved as new pictures separate from the original ones. Not available in these cases: • Not available when the viewfinder is in use.•[Clear Retouch] cannot be performed on the following images.–Motion pictures –Pictures taken with [Panorama Shot] in Scene Guide Mode–Pictures taken with [ ], [ ] or [ ]
250 Playback/Editing You can add text (comments) to pictures. After text has been registered, it can be stamped in prints using [Text Stamp] (P251). 1Select the menu. 3Enter the text. (P61) •Exit the menu after it is set. •To delete the title, erase all the text in the text input screen.•You can print out texts (comments) using the “ PHOTOfunSTUDIO ” bundled software on the CD-ROM (supplied). •You can set up to 100 pictures at one time with [Multi]. Not available in these cases: • You cannot use [Title Edit] for the following pictures.–Motion pictures–Pictures taken with [ ], [ ] or [ ] [Title Edit] [MENU] >[Playback] >[Title Edit] >[Single]/[Multi] 2Select an image to add text. •[’] is displayed for pictures with titles already registered.
