Chapter 8  Operation Method
This chapter explains how to perform basic remote control functions of the 
VisuaLink 128 or VisuaLink 384, such as switching monitor screens, and 
controlling cameras.  Your system is ON
 if the light near the power display on the 
front of the VisuaLink unit is lit.

8.2 Volume Control
If the volume from the far-end is either too faint or too loud, you can adjust it with 
the VOLUME
 buttons on the hand held remote.
8.2.1  Increase the volume

MicrophoneIf you want to speak privately to someone at your site during your 
videoconference, you can mute your microphone.

8.4 Switching Monitor 
ScreensDuring a Video conference, you may want to see a preview of local site to 
transmit or a still-picture in addition to seeing pictures sent from the remote.  Use 
the Monitor Switching Feature.  The user is able to switch the picture at the local 
site.
8.4.1  Preview the Local image
Previewing simply means looking at the image from your main camera or your 
document camera so that you can make any adjustments...

8.4.3  Recall a snapshot
Recall a snapshot simply means looking at the last snapshot that you sent or 
receive.

8.6  PIP Functions
The little window that appears on your screen is called the Picture-in-Picture (PIP) 
window.  You can make this window appear or disappear anytime.
8.6.1  Display the PIP

Press the PIP

PIP is displayed.
Note 1:
PIP displays the transmitting image.  The image shown on the monitor 
could be a mirror or non-mirror image.  This depends on the PIP menu 
setting.
