Be sure the system is turned off during the installation process. 2. Remove the cover by loosening the two bottom screws with a Phillips head screwdriver (the screws remain in the cover to keep from misplacing them). Pull the cover away from the KSU and lift upward. Plug the telephone cord into the modular jack on the bottom side of the telephone. The handset is also attached to the bottom side of the telephone. 2.
