    1. Select “Sound Test” on the menu screen to set the sound volume levels.
    The following screen is displayed.
    2. Use the Select Up/Down switch to choose the required item then press
    the Enter button.
    3. Use the Select UP/Down switch to change the setting, the press Enter to
    store the change.
    4. Select “EXIT” and press the Enter button to return to the menu screen.
    (a) Volume setting for left channel speaker. Settable from 0 ~ 65 with 0
    quietest and 63 loudest.
    (b) Volume setting for right channel speaker. Settable from 0 ~ 65 with 0
    quietest and 63 loudest.
    (c) Volume setting for the tank speaker. Settable from 0 ~ 65 with 0
    quietest and 65 loudest.
    (d,e,f) Each number will produce a different sound each time the Service
    button is pressed. The sound will stop automatically after approx. 10
    seconds.
    001 when selected will produce a sound from the left speaker only,
    then the right speaker only, then the tank speaker and then both left
    and right speakers together as a stereo check. At the same time,
    ‘LEFT’, ‘RIGHT’ and ‘CENTER’ is displayed.
    (g) Displays the song No. details.

    1. Select “MONITOR TEST” on the menu screen to test and adjust the
    Monitor. The following screen is displayed.
    2. Use the Select Up/Down switch choose the required item then press the
    Enter button. To return to the Monitor Test Menu from a test pattern press
    the Enter button.
    3. Select “EXIT” and press the Enter button to return to the menu screen.
    Note:
    Items (b) and (h) are not used on this game.

    6-3-7 Others
    1. Select “OTHERS” on the menu screen. The following screen is displa\
    yed. 
    2. Use the Select Up/Down switch choose the required item then press the Enter button.
    3. Select “EXIT” and press the Enter button to return to the menu scr\
    een. 
    (a,) Displays game software version. 
    (b) Allows the internal clock and calender to be set.
    (d), (e), (f) Used to test the PCB .
    (g) When selected the Data Initialization Menu appears. To reset all game settings to factory setting and clear all stored data , select YES 
    from the Data Initialization menu then press the Enter button.
    After initializing the backup data ensure that the game is re-
    initialized.  (section 7)

    7. INITIALIZATION
    Adjustments when Replacing Parts (Initialization) 
    The following adjustments should always be performed after replacing the\
     
    Game PC Board, ROM, or Control Potentiometers.
    The game will not operate correctly if these adjustments are not made. 
    1. Ensure that the Bike and Handlebar assemblies are in their central stand\
    -by positions.
    2. Slide the Test switch “ON” and select ‘BIKE INITIALIZATION’ from the menu screen  (See 6-3 page  45). The following screen will be displayed.
    3. After the five seconds the initialization is complete and the following screen will be displayed.
    4. When the value of ‘GAS’, ‘BRAKE’, ‘STEER’, and ‘BAN\
    K’ is around ‘0000’, and ‘OK’ is displayed when each item is operated, the adjustment i\
    s 
    completed. Otherwise, select ‘RETRY’ to readjust the unit.
    5. Slide the test switch off to return to normal game mode.
    7-1 Self Test This game automatically performs a self test at power-up for several sec\
    onds,
    during which time the monitor display remains blank.
    If an error is detected, the corresponding error message will be display\
    ed on
    the screen and will remain in that condition until the error has been re\
    ctified
    and the game again powered-up.

    8-1 Compressor Assembly
    NOTE:
    There are no user serviceable parts on the compressor assembly.
    Under no circumstances should any regulator valve be adjusted.
    Altering the regulator valves could lead to serious damage.
    8-2 Replacing the Bike Swing Potentiometer 1. Remove 4off Security screw (M5x12) and remove the front bearing cover. 
    2. Disconnect the connector. 
    3. Loosen the grub screw (M4x10) and remove the potentiometer complete with the mounting bracket.
    4. Replace the potentiometer taking care to connect the correct wires to th\
    e terminals.
    5. Reassemble in reverse order. 
    6 . Re-initialize the game.  (see section 7 page  54)
    Note: When refitting the potentiometer ensure that the tab on the
    potentiometer engages with the hole in the mounting bracket, and thatthe grub screw engages on the flat of the potentiometer shaft.After re-assembly , ensure that the game is re-initialized before
    normal game pla y.  (see section 7 page  54) 
    						
    							Page 58 8-3 Replacing the Throttle Potentiometer
    1. Remove 6off Security screw (M5x10) and remove the Throttle Cover and
    Cable Joint Plate.
    2. Remove 2off Pozi head screws (M4x10), and remove the potentiometer
    complete with bracket and gear.
    3. Loosen the grub screw (M4x10) and remove the gear.
    4. Replace the potentiometer taking care to connect the correct colour wire
    to the correct terminal.
    When replacing the potentiometer ensure that the locating tab engages in
    the hole in the pot bracket.

    5. Replace the gear and tighten the grub screw (M4x10).
    When refitting the gear ensure that the grub screw engages on the flat o\
    f
    the potentiometer shaft and the rotational position of the pot shaft iscorrect. (see diagram below)
    6. Refit the throttle cover and cable joint plate with 6off Security screw (M5x10).
    Note: When engaging the grip base and the spur gear , the grub screw (M4x10)
    of the spur gear should be positioned at the upper side (vertical) whe\
    n the throttle is wide open.
    Note: After re-assembly and refitting in to the bike, ensure that the game
    is re-initialized before normal game pla y.  (see section 7 page  54)

    8-4 Replacing the Brake Lever Potentiometer
    1. Remove the Throttle Cover and Cable Joint Plate.  (see Section 8-3 (1)
    page  58)
    2. Loosen the grub screw (M3x5) and remove the potentiometer complete with bracket.
    3. Replace the potentiometer taking care to connect the correct colour wire\
     to the correct terminal. 
    When replacing the potentiometer ensure that the locating tab engages in\
    the hole in the pot bracket and that the grub screw engages on the flat \
    of
    the potentiometer shaft.
    4. Refit the throttle cover and cable joint plate with 6off Security screw (M5x10).
    Note: After re-assembly , ensure that the game is re-initialized before
    normal game pla y.  (see section  7 page  54)
