Loss and Level Plan
Tone Levels
8.4 All of the tones used by the PABX are provided by the Digital Signal Processor on the
Main Control Card. The system provides eight tone channels, each of which can
generate either a dual or single frequency tone. One channel is used to generate a
signal which controls the frequency and amplitude of the ringing generator output.
Three channels are used for DTMF tone generation, and the remaining four are used
to generate the system call progress tones.
