Features 34 Cooling fan The cooling fan will come on automatically when a cooking programme is started. The cooling fan mixes hot air from the oven cavity with cool room air before venting it out into the kitchen through vents located between the appliance door and the control panel. Using for the first time 36 Standard settings The oven must not be operated until it has been correctly installed in its housing unit. The oven will switch on automatically when it is connected to the electricity supply. Using for the first time 38 Heating up the oven for the first time and rinsing the steam injection system New ovens can give off an unpleasant smell on first use. Heating up the oven for at least 1 hour with nothing in it will get rid of this smell. It is a good idea to rinse the steam injection system at the same time.
