Setting a cooking duration and finish time A cooking duration and finish time can be set to switch a cooking programme on and off automatically. Example: The time is now 11:15 ; you want a dish with a cooking duration of 90 minutes to be ready by 13:30 . Place the food in the oven. Select the required oven function and the temperature. Notes on the baking chart Temperature As a general rule, select the lower temperature given in the chart. Baking at temperatures higher than those recommended may reduce the cooking time, but will lead to uneven browning, and unsatisfactory cooking results. Baking time Check if the food is cooked at the end of the shortest time quoted. To check if a cake is ready, insert a wooden skewer into the centre.
