! Security Alert:
Using the Remote Module gains access to the  features of
the DEFINITY ECS, including access to WATS lines, FX
lines, etc., which are subject to toll fraud. Passwords should
be as long as allowed. Passwords should be hard to guess

Disconnecting
After you are finished programming the remote user passwords,
you must discontinue the operation of the Remote Module from the
Standalone Switch Module. Follow these steps:
1. From the Change Password screen, press

Programming the Rack-Mount
Modules
The Multi-Mount Rack has an Administration Port built into the
back. If you connect your computer to this Administration Port, you
can administer passwords and run diagnostics for all 12 Rack-
Mount Switch Modules.
NOTE:
Before you can program the Rack-Mount Modules, you must install
them into the Multi-Mount Rack. See Chapter 3, “Installation” for
the procedure to do this.

The Password Manager Program is the software that allows you to
enter, sort, print, save, and upload passwords to the Rack-Mount
Switch Modules.

Using the Password Manager
Program
Once the Password Manager is installed, you only need to double-
click the Security icon in the Security window to start the program.
However, you must know basic keyboard and mouse techniques in
Windows to make selections.

using the mouse to drop down a menu and select an item, you can
