Dedicated Line Problems Dedicated lines experience many of the same problems as normal dial lines. The difference in operation is the connect sequence. There is no call progress such as dial tone or ringing. When you select “Go Online,” the Remote Module sends out a calling tone that initiates the train sequence from the Switch Module....

R Rack-Mount Switch Module An interface card that fits into one of the 12 slots in the Multi-Mount Extender Rack.
