51Multimedia Yo u can store multimedia files on a memory card for easy access to all your image and video files. Gallery On the Home screen, touch > Apps tab > Gallery . Open a list of albums that store all your image and video files. Playing a video 1. On the Home screen, touch > Apps tab > Videos . 2. Select the video you want to play. Touch to pause playback. Touch to resume playback. Touch to fast-forward playback by 10 seconds. Touch to go rewind playback by 10 seconds. Touch to manage the video volume. Touch to change the ratio of the video screen. Touch to activate the QSlide function. Touch to share your video via the SmartShare function. Touch to lock the touch keys on the screen. To change the volume while watching a video, press the up and down Volume Keys on the left side of the phone. Touch and hold a video in the list to access Share, Trim, Delete and Details.
52Multimedia Live Zooming Live Zooming allows you to zoom in or zoom out on a portion of a video that is being played to make the desired scan appear larger or smaller. When viewing the video, use your index finger and thumb in a pinching or spreading motion to zoom in or out. NOTE • When in video playback mode, slide the screen up or down to adjust the brightness. • When in video playback mode, slide the screen left or right to rewind or fast-forward. NOTE Do not press too hard; the touch screen is sensitive enough to pick up a light, but firm touch. Video Editor Yo u can edit the photos or videos stored on the phone. To access, on the Home screen, touch > Video Editor . Split the video clip into two portions. Add sound effect. Add video, image or audio clip. Undo an action. Redo an action. Add text to video or image clip.
54Multimedia Video Wiz Yo u can make your own movie using your images/video and music. 1. On the Home screen, touch > Video Wiz . 2. After seeing the brief introduction on the steps to follow, touch OK. 3. Touch to add images or video to your movie. 4. Touch the desired images or videos, then touch . • To remove images or videos, touch and touch . Then touch . • To rearrange them, touch and hold an image/video, and drag and drop it to the desired position. 5. Touch Select style to select the desired movie style. • Scroll through and select the style you want. As you scroll through the styles, a preview will be displayed. 6. Touch Select music to set the background music. 7. Touch to play your movie. 8. Touch to edit the video clip using Text, Sticker or Magic Spot. • After editing the video, touch . 9. 55Multimedia Music Your phone has a music player that lets you play all your favorite tracks. To access the music player, on the Home screen, touch > Music . Add music files to your phone Start by transferring music files to your phone: • Transfer music using Media sync (MTP). • Download from the Web. • Synchronize your phone to a computer. • Receive files via Bluetooth. Transfer music using Media sync (MTP) 1. Connect the phone to your PC using the USB cable. 2. Select the Media sync (MTP) option. Your phone will appear as another hard drive on your computer. Click on the drive to view it. Copy the files from your PC to the drive folder. 3. When you’re finished transferring files, swipe down on the Status Bar and touch USB connected > Charge only. Yo u may now safely unplug your device. Playing a song 1. On the Home screen, touch > Music . 2. Touch Songs. 3. Select the song you want to play. Touch to find the song on YouTube. Touch to share your music via SmartShare. Touch to set shuffle mode. Touch to set repeat mode. Touch to manage the music volume.
56Multimedia Touch to pause playback. Touch to resume playback. Touch to skip to the next track on the album or in the, playlist. Touch to go back to the beginning of the song. Touch twice to return to the previous song. Touch to set the song as a favorite. Touch to see the current playlist. Touch to set Dolby audio effect when connected with a headset jack. To change the volume while listening to music, press the up and down Volume Keys on the left side of the phone. Touch and hold any song in the list to access Play, Add to playlist, Share, Set as ringtone, Delete, Details and Search. NOTE • Some file formats are not supported, depending on the device software. • If the file size exceeds the available memory, an error can occur when you open files. NOTE Music file copyrights may be protected by international treaties and national copyright laws. Therefore, it may be necessary to obtain permission or a licence to reproduce or copy music. In some countries, national laws prohibit private copying of copyrighted material. Before downloading or copying the file, check the national laws of the relevant country concerning the use of such material. Tasks This task can be synchronized with MS Exchange account. Yo u can create task, revise it and delete it in MS Outlook or MS Office Outlook Web Access. To Synchronize MS Exchange 1. On the Home screen, touch > Settings . 2. Touch Accounts & sync > ADD ACCOUNT. 3. Touch Microsoft Exchange to add your Microsoft Exchange account. 4. Make sure if you checkmark Sync Tasks.
57Multimedia To open the Tasks application On the Home screen, touch > Tasks . Tasks options : Ta p to view All tasks, Overdue tasks, and Due today tasks. : Ta p to refresh your task list. : Ta p to search for tasks. : Ta p to create a new task. Ta p the Menu Key to access the following options: • Sort by: Allows you to sort tasks by Creation order, Due date, Subject, and Priority. • Accounts and Lists: Allows you to select which accounts and lists to display. • Import/Export: Allows you to import or export tasks to the SD card or internal storage. • Settings: Allows you to set advanced settings.
58Utilities QSlide The QSlide function enables an overlay on your phone’s display for easy multi-tasking. OR 1. Open the Notifications Panel and touch the desired app from the QSlide apps section. OR While using an application that supports QSlide, touch . The function will be continuously displayed as a small window on your screen. 2. Yo u can make a call, browse the Web, or choose other phone options. Yo u can also use the QSlide window by adjusting the transparency bar . NOTE The QSlide function can support up to two windows at the same time. VuTalk Use VuTalk to collaboratively communicate using real-time interactive handwriting. NOTE • VuTalk is compatible with other VuTalk-capable LG devices. • During a voice call, you can use VuTalk only when connected to the 4G data network or Wi-Fi. • The screen may lock if no input is made for a period of time. Registering VuTalk 1. From the Home screen, touch > Contacts .

Setting your alarm 1. On the Home screen, touch > Apps tab > Alarm/Clock . 2. Touch to add a new alarm and enter the desired time. 3. Set Repeat, Snooze duration, Vibration, Alarm sound, Alarm volume, Auto app starter, Puzzle lock and Memo. 4. Touch Save to save the alarm.
