All downloads stored in RAM are deleted. Downloads stored in flash memory or on the printer hard disk are not affected. Format Disk Yes NoFormats the printer hard disk Notes: A printer hard disk must be installed in the printer and operating properly for this menu item to be available. The disk must not be Read/Write or Write protected. No cancels the format request. Selecting Yes deletes all stored data and reformats the printer hard disk. Job Acct Stat Print ClearPrints a list of all stored job statistics or deletes the information from the printer hard disk Notes: A printer hard disk must be installed in the printer and operating properly for this menu item to be available. The factory default printer language varies depending on the type of printer purchased. Setting a printer language as the default does not prevent a program from sending print jobs that use another printer language. Resource Save Off OnSpecifies how the printer handles temporary downloads, such as fonts and macros stored in RAM, when the printer receives a job that requires more memory than is available Notes: Off is the factory default setting. Job Accounting appears only when the hard disk is installed and working. Print Area Normal Whole PageModifies the logical and physical print area Notes: Normal is the factory default setting. When attempting to print data in the non‑printable area defined by the Normal setting, the printer clips the image at the boundary. The Whole Page setting allows the image to be moved into the non‑printable area defined by the Normal setting, but the printer will clip the image at the Normal setting boundary. The Whole Page setting only affects pages printed using a PCL 5e interpreter. This setting has no effect on pages printed using the PCL XL, PPDS, or PostScript interpreter.
