    6Pull out the trays.
    7Lift up the printer by holding the 
    recessed areas at both sides of 
    the printer as shown in the fig-
    ure.
    8With another persons help, 
    place the printer on top of the 
    lower feeder unit, making sure 
    that the positioning pins on the 
    lower feeder unit correctly fit into 
    the holes on the bottom of the 
    printer.
    The printer must be low-
    ered gently. Otherwise, 
    the interior parts may be 
    damaged.

    WARNING!
    This printer weighs approximately 23 kg (50.8 lbs) when it is fully loaded 
    with consumables. The printer must be lifted by two people.
    9Insert the fasteners into the 2 
    locations inside and 2 locations 
    at the back of the printer.

    10Push the trays completely into 
    the printer.
    11Reconnect all interface cables.
    12Reconnect the power cord, and 
    turn on the printer.
    13Declare Paper Source Unit 3/4 in the Windows printer driver (Properties/
    Configure tab).

    Offset Tray
    When the offset tray is installed, job separation and offset printing can be per-
    formed.
    Installing the Offset Tray
    1Turn off the printer and discon-
    nect the power cord and inter-
    face cables.

    2Loosen the right and left thumb-
    screws as shown in the figure to 
    remove the top cover of the 
    paper exit. 
    3Insert the right and left tabs of 
    the offset tray into the holes at 
    the top of the printer and slowly 
    put the offset tray down to the 
    top of the printer.

    4Tighten the two screws at both 
    ends of the bottom of the offset 
    tray.
    5Draw the extension tray (1).
    When printing a thick 
    paper, you can flip the 
    stopper as shown in the 
    figure below (2).
    6Reconnect all interface cables.
    7Reconnect the power cord, and 
    turn on the printer.
    8Declare Offset Tray in the Windows printer driver (Properties/Configure 
    tab).

    1Insert the right and left tabs of 
    the face up tray into the holes at 
    the back of the printer.
    2Raise the lever as shown in the 
    figure and draw the extension 
    tray.
