    							Cleaning the Printer 141 Cleaning the Feed Roller (inside the Tray)
    The accumulation of paper dust and other debris on the media rollers can 
    cause media-feeding problems. 
    1Pull the tray out of the printer
    2While pushing down the shaft of 
    the feed roller, widen the tab of 
    the feed roller to loosen it (1) 
    and then slowly remove the feed 
    roller from the shaft on the tray 
    (2).
    3Clean the feed rollers by wiping 
    them with a soft, dry cloth.

    4Hold the tab on the feed roller 
    and slowly push it into the shaft 
    on the tray.
    5Aligning the small tabs on the 
    feed roller with the slots of the 
    shaft, push the feed roller com-
    pletely in so that the tab fits into 
    the slot.
    6Push the tray completely into the 
    printer.

    1Open the top cover.
    Do not touch any parts 
    inside the printer.
    2Hold the toner cartridge by the 
    grip, and then pull it out slowly.
    3Clean the feed rollers by wiping 
    them with a soft, dry cloth.

    4Hold the toner cartridge by the 
    grip, and then insert it into the 
    slot inside the printer.
    Do not touch any parts 
    inside the printer.
    Ensure that the toner car-
    tridge is firmly set.
    5Close the top cover securely.

    Cleaning the Duplex Feed Rollers
    1Lift the lever at the top left hand 
    side of the duplex to unlock it 
    and open the duplex cover.
    2Clean the media feed roller by 
    wiping them with a soft, dry 
    cloth.
    3Close the duplex cover.

    1Pull the tab at the top left of the 
    offset tray cover to open it.
    2Clean the media feed roller by

    3Close the offset tray cover.

    1Open the top cover.
