Printing envelopes You can print on envelopes from tray 1 or the optional envelope feeder. Tray 1 holds up to 10 envelopes and supports standard or custom sizes. The optional envelope feeder holds up to 75 envelopes and supports only standard envelope sizes. For printing on any size of envelope, make sure to set the margins in your program at least 15 mm (0.6 inch) from the edge of the envelope. These types of paper can cause issues in regard to toner adhesion and print quality.
