Instead of looking for media in tray 1 first, the printer pulls media from the tray that matches type and size settings that are selected in the software. Selecting the correct fuser mode The printer automatically adjusts the fuser mode based on the media type to which the tray is set. For example, heavy paper, such as card stock, might need a higher fuser-mode setting in order to make the toner adhere better to the page, but transparencies need the LOW fuser-mode setting to avoid damage to the printer. Stapling documents The optional stapler/stacker can staple jobs of up to 15 sheets of 75 g/m2 (20 lb) paper. The stapler can staple letter-size, A4-size, or legal-size paper. ● Paper weight can range from 60 to 120 g/m 2 (16 to 32 lb).
