To lock any passenger’s door when
getting out of the vehicle, pull the
lock tab rearward and close the door.
To lock the driver’s door, remove the
key f rom the ignition switch, pull and
hold the outside door handle, and
pull the lock tab rearward or push
the top of the master door lock
switch, then close the door.
When you lock the doors and the
tailgate with the key or the remote
transmitter, all outside turn signals
and both indicators in the instrument

The super locking will not set if any
door or the tailgate is not f ully closed.
It will be set even if the bonnet, or
any window is open.
With the super locking set, the
master door lock switch on the
driver’s door and the lock tabs on all
doors are disabled.
You can also set the super locking
with the remote transmitter. To set it,
push the LOCK button twice within
5 seconds (see page ).

The outside door handle is located
next to the rear window. The childproof door locks are
designed to prevent children seated
in the rear f rom accidentally opening
the rear doors. Each rear door has a
lock lever near the edge. With the

you lock or unlock the driver’s door
with the key, the remote transmitter,
the master door lock switch, or the
locktabonthedriver’sdoor.
To open the tailgate, push the
release, then lif t up. To close the
tailgate, use the inner handle to pull
it down, then press down on the back
