    SAFETY
    all
the year round, Never let children near the mower, whether it is
    running or not.
Never refuel your mower while the engine is hot.
Never put a mixture of oil and petrol in a 4-stroke
    engine.
Never leave your mower near a source of heat,
    flame or sparks.
Important: look your lawn over well before
mowing, and remove anything that the blade
    might hit.
When using your mower, always wear boots with
    non-slip soles.
To prevent fuel (95-octane petrol) degrading in
the fuel tank, we recommend adding a special
small-engine fuel additive. If you do not, it is better
to empty the fuel tank or run it dry, if the next
mowing is not likely to be sooner than three
    weeks.
Before carrying out any operation on your
machine, disconnect the spark plug cable.
Whenever it is necessary to look under the blade
housing, tilt the mower while still keeping the
    spark plug uppermost.
Please read the instructions for use
and maintenance carefully before starting your
    machine

    MAINTENANCE
    •
    HOW TO REFUEL
Your new mower is supplied without oil or fuel. With
the engine stationary and cool, fill the fuel tank on the
upper part of the hood, taking care to distinguish
between it and the oil reservoir. Never fill your fuel
tank to the very brim. Tighten the cap thoroughly.
    •
    HOW TO CHANGE THE OIL
Stop the engine. Tilt your mower until you can see the
blade. Make sure the spark plug cable is disconnected
and that the spark plug is pointing upwards. Loosen the
threaded plug beside the blade axle and let the oil
drain into a receptacle. Refill the reservoir with new oil.
    •
HOW TO REPLACE THE SPARK PLUG
Stop the engine. Pull off the spark plug cap.
With a spark plug wrench, loosen the spark plug, t
wisting anti-clockwise, and remove. Fit a new spark
plug, tightening clockwise. Replace the spark plug cap.
    •
    THE RIGHT OIL
We recommend using a high-quality, detergent oil: it
will keep your engine clean and slow the depositing of
heavy tars. Take care to fill your oil reservoir with the
right quantity: see the user notice on your machine
