Since cleaning liquid is nearly invisible, the printer checks the cleaning nozzles automatically and shows their status below the pattern. The power cycle uses a large quantity of ink, so it is recommended only as a last resort. To use power cleaning, the cartridges need to be at least 50% full; replace a low cartridge if necessary.
