6Install the lamp cover.
Insert the two cover tabs into the projector, and 
then press the other side of the lamp cover until it 
clicks into place.
The projector has a built-in counter which keeps track of the lamp operating time. When the cumulative 
operating time reaches a certain point, it causes the replacement warning message to be displayed. Therefore, 
the counter needs to be reset after the lamp has been replaced with a new one. You can do this using the 
projector menu....

Procedure

Turn off the projector power, wait for the 
cool-down
 period to end, and then 
disconnect the power cord. (p.9)
The cool-down period lasts for about 2 minutes. 
The actual time will vary depending on the 
external air temperature.
2Put your finger into the recess in the air 
filter hook, and lift up the air filter to 
remove it.
In order to prevent any dust on the air filter from 
getting into the projector, be sure to stand up the 
projector so that the handle is at the top....

Saving a Users Logo
You can record the image that is currently being projected as a users logo.
Procedure
1Project the image that you would like to 
use as a users logo, and then press the 
[Menu] button on the projector’s control 
panel or the remote control.
2Select the Users Logo menu, and then 
press the 
 button on the projectors 
control panel or the [Enter] button on 
the remote control.
3Select Yes in the sub-menu, and then 
press the   button on the projectors

Select the zoom rate in the Zoom rate 
setting screen, and then press the

7Select Yes at the confirmation screen,

The image will then be saved. Once the image has 
been saved, the message Saving the users logo is 
completed. will be displayed.
