86 Maintenance PROCEDURE Turn the projector power off, wait for the cool-down period to end, then disconnect the power cable. The cool-down period lasts for about 20 seconds. Wait until the lamp has cooled down, then remove the lamp cover from the base of the projector. 87 Maintenance Take out the lamp. Hold the lamp as shown in the illustration below and lift it up and out of the projector. If the lamp is broken replace it with a new lamp, or contact your local dealer for further advice. If replacing the lamp yourself, be careful to avoid pieces of broken glass.Install the new lamp.
