The  overlapping  area  might  become  uneven  depending  on  the  images.  In  such  a  case,  it  is  recommended  to 
decrease the contrast of the images in the Image Adjust Menu.

RECOMMENDATION
We recommend avoiding dusty/smoky environments when 
operating the projector. Usage in these environments may 
cause a poor image quality.
When using the projector under dusty or smoky conditions, 
dust may accumulate on a lens, liquid crystal panels, or optical 
elements inside the projector. Such condition may degrade the 
quality of the projected image.

Lamp Management
This Projector is equipped with 4 Projection Lamps to 
ensure brighter image and those lamps are controlled by 
the Lamp Management Function. The Lamp Management 
Function detects the status of lamps and shows the 
status on screen or on the LAMP REPLACE indicators. 
This function also automatically controls the Lamp 
Mode when any of lamps is out for the end of life or 
malfunctions.

Check the LAMP 1/2/3/4 REPLACE indicators on top 
of the projector. When any of the indicators blinks 
rapidly, wait at least 20 minutes until it blinks slowly. 
After that, go to the next step. When any of the 
indicators blinks slowly, go to the next step. 
Loosen the two screws that securing the lamp and 
pull out the lamp by using the handle. (See the right 
lower figure.)

Improper handling may result in accidents, injury, or create a fire hazard.
l Lamp  lifetime  may  differ  from  lamp  to  lamp  and  according  to  the  environment  of  use. There  is  no 
guarantee  of  the  same  lifetime  for  each  lamp.  Some  lamps  may  fail  or  terminate  their  lifetime  in  a

Turn off the projector, press the Main On/Off Switch to Off 
and unplug the AC power cord from the AC outlet before 
cleaning.
Gently wipe the projection lens with a cleaning cloth that 
contains a small amount of non-abrasive camera lens 
cleaner, or use a lens cleaning paper or commercially 
available air blower to clean the lens. 
Avoid using an excessive amount of cleaner. Abrasive 
cleaners, solvents, or other harsh chemicals might scratch 
the surface of the lens.

WARNING TEMP. indicator and the LAMP indicator to take proper maintenance.

Troubleshooting
Before calling your dealer or service center for assistance, check the items below once again.
1. Make sure you have properly connected the projector to peripheral equipment as described \
on pages 20–21.
2.  Check the cable connection. Make sure that all computers, video equipment, and power cords are properly
