Follow these steps to replace the lamp.
Turn  off  the  projector  and  disconnect  the  AC  power 
c o r d .    A l l o w  t h e  p r o j e c t o r  t o  c o o l  f o r  a t  l e a s t  4 5 
minutes.
Loosen  2  screws  of  the  lamp  with  a  screwdriver  and 
pull  out  the  lamp  upwards  vertically  by  grasping  the 
handle.
Replace  the  lamp  with  a  new  one  and  tighten  the  2 
screws  back  into  position.    Make  sure  that  the  lamp  is

Be  sure  to  reset  the  Lamp  replacement  counter  after  the  lamp  is  replaced.    When  the  Lamp  replacement 
counter is reset, the LAMP REPLACE indicator stops lighting.

The WARNING TEMP. indicator shows the state of the function which protects the projector. Check the state 
of the WARNING TEMP. indicator and the POWER indicator to take proper maintenance.

indicator is blinking red .
When  the  temperature  inside  the  projector  reaches  a 
certain  level,  the  projector  is  automatically  shut  down  to

Cleaning the Projector Cabinet
Softly  wipe  the  projector  body  with  a  soft,  dry  cleaning 
cloth.  When it is heavily soiled, use a small amount of 
mild detergent and finish with a soft, dry cleaning cloth.  
Avoid using an excessive amount of cleaner.  Abrasive 
cleaners,  solvent,  or  other  harsh  chemicals  might 
scratch the surface.

Before calling your dealer or service center for assistance, check the i\
tems below once again.
– Make  sure  you  have  properly  connected  the  projector  to  peripheral  equipment  as  described  on 
pages14-16.
