You should only perform troubleshooting and simple repairs as authorized in your product documentation, or as directed by the online or telephone service and support team. Damage due to servicing that is not authorized by Dell is not covered by your warranty. Read and follow the safety instructions that are shipped with your product. Steps 1.Using a Phillips #2 screwdriver, remove the screw(s) securing the control panel to the chassis. CAUTION: Do not use excessive force when removing the control panel as it can damage the connectors. 2.From inside the system, push the control panel out of the chassis. 3.Remove all the cables connecting the control panel to the chassis. 172

NOTE: Information tag lists system information such as Service Tag, NIC, and MAC address. 2.To install the information tag, push the information tag into the control panel slot. 3.Connect all the applicable cables to the control panel. 4.Slide the control panel into the slot in the chassis and secure the module with the screw. 175
