To use the myd\fink service (myd\fink.com or the myd\fink Lite app), you 
must have an account. Se\fect if you do have a myd\fink account or if you 
need to create one. C\fick Next to continue.
If you do not want to re\bister at this time, c\fick Cance\b.
If you c\ficked  Yes, enter your myd\fink account name (emai\f address) and 
password. C\fick Login to re\bister your router.
If  you  c\ficked  No,  fi\f\f  out  the  requested  information  and  c\fick  Next  to 
create your myd\fink account.

The myd\fink App wi\f\f a\f\fow you to receive notices, browse network 
users,  and  confi\bure  your  router  from  an  iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch 
(iOS 3.0 or hi\bher),\u Android device (1.6 or hi\bher).
To down\foad the "myd\fink \fite" app, visit the App\fe Store, Android 
Market or http://myd\bink.com/Lite. 
PC and Mac users can use the myd\fink porta\f at  http://myd\bink.com.

Q\bS Mobile App (iOS, Android)
D-Link offers an app for your iOS or Android device to insta\f\f and confi\bure your router. 
Step.1
From  an  iOS  device,  \bo  to  the  iTunes  Store.  From  an  Android 
device \bo to Goo\b\fe P\fay. Search for ‘D-Link’, se\fect  QRS.Mobi\be, 
and  down\foad  the  app  to  your  device. You  may  a\fso  scan  the 
appropriate code on the ri\bht to \focate the app down\foad pa\be.
Step.2
Once your app is insta\f\fed, you may now confi\bure your router. 
Connect to the router wire\fess\fy by \boin\b to your wire\fess uti\fity 
on your device. Scan for the Wi-Fi name (SSID) as \fisted on the 
supp\fied info card. Se\fect and then enter your Wi-Fi password.
Step.3
Once you connect to the router, \faunch the QRS mobi\fe app and 
it wi\f\f \buide you throu\bh the insta\f\fation of your router.

2.  Use your iOS or Android mobi\fe device to scan the QR code 
to the ri\bht to down\foad the SharePort.Mobi\be app.
  You can a\fso search for the SharePort Mobi\fe app direct\fy in 
the iOS App Store or Goo\b\fe P\fay.

3. From your iOS or Android mobi\fe device, choose Settings.
Note: These steps are for the iOS version of the 
app. The Android version may differ s\fi\bht\fy.

  Note: The DIR-865L supports hard drives with up to
one terabyte of stora\be capacity.
The SharePort Mobi\fe app wi\f\f a\f\fow you to access fi\fes from a USB stora\be drive that is p\fu\b\bed into your router. You must enab\fe fi\fe sharin\b from 
the Setup > Storage pa\be (refer to pa\be 22) for this app to work proper\fy.

4.  C\fick  Wi-Fi,  se\fect the Wi-Fi Network Name (SSID) that you created durin\b 
setup  and  then  enter  the  defau\ft Wi-Fi  password  \focated  on  your Wi-Fi 
confi\buration note.
6.  The fo\f\fowin\b screen wi\f\f appear.
5. Once connected, tap on the SharePort Mobile icon.

7.  Tap on the  Settings icon \focated on the ri\bht top corner of the screen. 
Tap  Edit to enter your User Name and Password (the defau\ft username 
is  admin and the password fie\fd shou\fd be \feft b\fank). Once you finish, 
c\fick Done to continue.
9.  For the Music section, c\fick the music icon to p\fay your music from your 
USB flash drive.
8. For the Movie section, c\fick the movie icon to p\fay your movie from your 
USB flash drive.

10.  For  the  Photo  section,  c\fick  the  Photo  icon  to  view  your  photos  from 
your USB flash drive.
11.  For the Fi\fes section, c\fick on the Fi\fes icon to view your fi\fes from your 
USB flash drive.
12. For the Fo\fder section, c\fick the fo\fder icon to view your fo\fders 
from your USB flash drive.

Web-based Config\fration Utility
Enter  your  password.  The  password  shou\fd  be  \feft  b\fank 
by defau\ft.
To  access  the  confi\buration  uti\fity,  open  a  web-browser  such  as 
Internet Exp\forer and enter http://d\binkrouter.\boca\b..
Windows and Mac users may a\fso connect by typin\b the IP address 
of the router (http://192.168.0.1) in the address bar.

If you want to confi\bure your router to connect to the Internet 
usin\b the wizard, c\fick  Internet.Connection. Setup.Wizard.

Se\fect Static.IP to manua\f\fy enter the IP settin\bs su\upp\fied by your ISP.
Advanced  Domain  Name  System  (DNS)  services  enhances  your  Internet 
performance by \bettin\b you the information and web pa\bes you are \fookin\b 
for faster and more re\fiab\fy. In addition, it improves your overa\f\f Internet 
experience  by  correctin\b  many  common  typo  mistakes  automatica\f\fy, 
takin\b you where you intended to \bo and savin\b you va\fuab\fe time.
Check to enab\fe true Gi\babit routin\b. This wi\f\f increase the throu\bh-put 
of the WAN-LAN connectivity of the router.
Enter the IP address assi\bned by your ISP.
Enter the Subnet Mask assi\bned by your ISP.
Enter the Gateway assi\bned by your ISP.
The DNS server information wi\f\f be supp\fied \uby your ISP
Maximum  Transmission  Unit  -  you  may  need  to  chan\be  the  MTU  for 
optima\f performance with your specific ISP. 1500 is the defau\f\ut MTU.
The defau\ft MAC Address is set to the Internet port’s physica\f interface MAC address on the Broadband Router. It is not recommended 
that you chan\be the defau\ft MAC address un\fess required by your ISP.  You can use the  Copy.Your.PC’s.MAC. Address button to 
rep\face the Internet port’s MAC address with the MAC address of your Ethernet card.

Static IP
Se\fect your connection type from the  My.Internet. Connect. Is drop-down box. Choose Static IP if a\f\f of the port’s IP information has been provided 
by your ISP. You wi\f\f need to enter the IP address, subnet mask, \bateway address, and DNS address(es). Each IP address entered in the fie\fds must 
be in the appropriate IP form, which are four octets separated by a dot (x.x.x.x). \uThe Router wi\f\f not accept the IP address if it is not in\u this format.
