Lighted PushButton TopreventpossibleSERIOUSINJURYorDEATHfroma fallinggaragedoor: •Ifpossible,useemergencyreleasehandleto disengagetrolleyONLYwhengaragedoorisCLOSED. Weakorbrokenspringsorunbalanceddoorcould resultinanopendoorfallingrapidlyand/or unexpectedly. •NEVERuseemergencyreleasehandleunlessgarage doorwayisclearofpersonsandobstructions. NEVERusehandletopulldooropenorclosed.Ifrope knotbecomesuntied,youcouldfall. Thedoorshouldbefully closedifpossible.Pulldown ontheemergencyrelease handleandliftthedoor manually.Toreconnectthe doortotheopener,pressthe doorcontrolpushbar. MANUALDISCONNECT POSITION Thelockoutfeatureprevents thetrolleyfromreconnecting automatically.Pullthe emergencyreleasehandle downandback(towardthe opener).Thedoorcanthenbe raisedandloweredmanually asoftenasnecessary.To disengagethelockoutfeature, pullthehandlestraightdown.LOCKOUTPOSITION ThetrolleywillreconnectonthenextUPorDOWN operation. 31

OR Safetysensorswire shortedorblack/white wirereversed, Doorcontrolor wireshorted, SafetySensors slightlymisaligned (dimorflashingLED). Motoroverheatedor possibleRPMsensor failure,Unplugtoreset. MotorCircuitFailure, ReplaceReceiver LogicBoard, Yourgaragedooropenerisprogrammedwith self-diagnosticcapabilities.TheLearnbutton/diagnostic LEDwillflashanumberoftimesthenpausesignifyingit hasfoundapotentialissue.ConsultDiagnosticChartbelow. ..e ..e ..e ..e Symptom:OneorbothoftheIndicatorlightsonthesafetysensorsdo notglowsteady. •Inspectsensorwiresforashort(stapleinwire),correctwiringpolarity (black/whitewiresreversed),brokenordisconnectedwires,replace/attach asneeded. •Disconnectallwiresfrombackofmotorunit. •Removesensorsfrombracketsandshortensensorwiresto1-2ft(30-60cm) frombackeachofsensor. •Reattachsendingeyetomotorunitusingshortenedwires.Ifsendingeye indicatorlightglowssteadily,attachthereceivingeye. •Alignsensors,iftheindicatorlightsglowreplacethewiresforthesensors.If thesensorindicatorlightsdonotlight,replacethesafetysensors. Symptom:LEDisnotfitondoorcontrol. •Inspectdoorcontrol/wiresforashort(stapleinwire),replaceasneeded. •Disconnectwiresatdoorcontrol,touchwirestogether.Ifmotorunitactivates replacedoorcontrol. •Ifmotorunitdoesnotactivate,disconnectdoorcontrolwiresfrommotorunit. Momentarilyshortacrossredandwhiteterminalswithjumperwire.Ifmotor unitactivates,replacedoorcontrolwires. Symptom:Sendingindicatorlightglowssteadily,receivingindicatorlight isdimorflashing. •Realignreceivingeyesensor,cleanlensandsecurebrackets. •Verifydoortrackisfirmlysecuredtowallanddoesnotmove. Symptom:Motorhasoverheated;themotorunitdoesnotoperateor trolleyisstuckonstopbolt=Motorunithumsbriefly;RPMSensor= Shorttravel6-8(15-20cm). •Unplugunittoreset.Trytooperatemotorunit,checkdiagnosticcode. •Ifitisstillflashing5timesandmotorunitmoves6-8(15-20cm),replaceRPM sensor. •Ifmotorunitdoesntoperate,motorunitisoverheated.Wait30minutesand retry.Ifmotorunitstillwillnotoperatereplacelogicboard.
