Dial By Name
The Dial By Name feature allows users to employ any two-line display, LCD speakerphone and its
interactive buttons to search through an index of names, locate a desired station name or system speed
dial name, and automatically call the located item.
By pressing the option button, users enter the dial by name menu. From that menu, they either press the
INTbutton for intercom calling or theEXTbutton for system speed dial calling, and then dial three digits
for the first three letters of the...

Using Dial By Name
To use dial by name,
·PressOPTIONto enter the dial by name menu.
·PressINTbutton for intercom calling or pressEXTfor speed dial calling.
·Dial up to seven digits for the corresponding letters of the name that you want to locate
(for example, dial 266 for Comdial).
·1 = QZ 2 = ABC 3 = DEF
4 = GHI 5 = JKL 6 = MNO
7 = PRS 8 = TUV 9 = WXY
Remember, reporogramming allows 7 to represent PQRS and 9 to represent WXYZ with 1 no
longer representing any letters.
