2.2.4 Mounting
There are several methods for mounting the projector. In typical front and rear screen installations the projector 
can be mounted to a secure and level su rface, such as a table or cart. Carts are useful when the projector has to 
be moved often. Lock the wheels on a cart, when it is  in position, to prevent accidental movement during a 
presentation.

Basic Optical Alignment Procedure
1. Display a test pattern:  Appropriate for analyzing image focus an d geometry, such as the “framing” test

2.2.9 Connecting Communications
Remote Keypads
To control the projector, direct the IR remote towards the display screen or the IR sensors on the projector. 
Alternatively, connect a wired (tethered) version  of the remote to the XLR connector labeled as 
WIRED KEYPAD on the

1. Set them all to the same baud  rate as your RS-422 controller. 
NOTE: You must enable this combination of 
RS-422 and RS-232 in the  Communications  menu. Set the “Network Routing ” option to  “RS-232 and 
RS-422 Joined ”.

ETHERNET NETWORK SETUP: To add one or more projectors to an Ethernet network, use standard CAT5 cable 
to connect each projector Ethernet port to a hub belonging to the network. A controller or PC must also be 
connected to the hub, see  Figure 2-23. 
NOTE: A wireless router can be used to  communicate to the projectors 
via 802.11b/g.
