XXThe flash fires, and when [(] is displayed, the flash output level is retained. zzTo unlock FE, release the shutter button and press the button again. XXYour last shot is displayed. 2 Browse through your images. zzTo view the previous image, press the button. To view the next image, press the button. zzTo access Scroll Display mode, press and hold the buttons for at least one second. In this mode, press the buttons to browse through images. zzTo return to single-image display, press the button. zzTo browse images grouped by shooting date, press the buttons in Scroll Display mode. zzMovies are identified by a [] icon. To play movies, go to step 3. 3 Play movies. zzTo start playback, press the button, press the buttons to choose [ ], and then press the button again. 4 Adjust the volume. zzPress the buttons to adjust the volume. zzEven after the volume indicator disappears, you can adjust the volume by pressing the < o> buttons. 5 Pause playback. zzTo pause or resume playback, press the button. Still ImagesMovies Histogram zzThe graph in detailed information display (= 85) is a histogram showing the distribution of brightness in the image. The horizontal axis represents the degree of brightness, and the vertical axis, how much of the image is at each level of brightness. Viewing the histogram is a way to check exposure. Still ImagesMovies GPS Information Display zzUsing a smartphone connected to the camera via Wi-Fi (= 115), you can geotag images on the camera, adding information such as latitude, longitude, and elevation. Geotagged images are labeled with a [] icon in detailed information display. Switch to simple information display mode and check. zzPress the button repeatedly until simple information display is activated, and then press the buttons to choose an image. zzNames will be displayed on detected people. • If you do not want names to display on images shot using Face ID, press \ the button, choose [Face ID Info] on the [1] tab, and then set [Name Display] to [Off]. Browsing and Filtering Images Still ImagesMovies Navigating Through Images in an Index By displaying multiple images in an index, you can quickly find the images you are looking for. 1 Display images in an index. zzMove the zoom lever toward < g> to display images in an index. Moving the lever again will increase the number of images shown. zzTo display fewer images, move the zoom lever toward < k>. Fewer images are shown each time you move the lever. 2 Choose an image. zzPress the buttons to choose an image. XXAn orange frame is displayed around the selected image. zzPress the button to view the selected image in single-image display. COPY

You can also protect (= 93) or delete ( = 96) these images all at once. Name Displays images of a registered person ( = 42). PeopleDisplays images with detected faces. Shot DateDisplays the images shot on a specific date. Favorites Displays images tagged as favorites ( = 99). Still image/MovieDisplays still images, movies, or movies shot in [] mode (= 34). 1 Choose a search condition. zzPress the button, choose [] in the menu, and choose a condition ( = 28). zzWhen you have selected [] or [], choose the condition by pressing the buttons on the screen displayed, and then press the < m> button. 2 View the filtered images. zzImages matching your conditions are displayed in yellow frames. To view only these images, press the < q> buttons. zzTo cancel filtered display, choose [] in step 1. • When the camera has found no corresponding images for some conditions, those conditions will not be available. • Options for viewing the images found (in step 2) include “Navigating Through Images in an Index” (= 87), “Viewing Slideshows” ( = 91), and “Magnifying Images” ( = 91). You can protect, erase, or print all images found or add them to a photobook by choosing [Select All Images in Search] in “Protecting Images” ( = 93), “Erasing All Images” (= 96), “Adding Images to the Print List (DPOF)” (= 150), or “Adding Images to a Photobook” (= 153). • If you edit images and save them as new images ( = 101 – 103), a message is displayed, and the images that were found are no longer shown. However, you cannot add names for people who are not detected by Face ID (names are not displayed), and for people whose names have been erased. Changing Names 1 Access the setting screen. zzPress the button and choose [Face ID Info] on the [ 1] tab (= 29). zzPress the buttons to choose [Edit ID Info], and then press the button. 2 Choose an image. zzFollowing the procedure in “Checking People Detected in Face ID” ( = 87), choose an image and press the < m> button. zzAn orange frame is displayed around the selected face. When multiple names are displayed in an image, press the buttons to choose the name to change, and press the button. 3 Choose the item to edit. zzPress the buttons to choose [Overwrite], and then press the button. 4 Choose the name of the person to overwrite. zzFollow step 2 in “Overwriting and Adding Face Information” (= 46) to choose the name of the person you want to overwrite. Erasing Names zzFollowing step 3 in “Changing Names” (= 90), choose [Erase] and press the button. zzAfter [Erase?] is displayed, press the buttons to choose [OK], and then press the button. COPY
