align the Film Guide with the grooves on the 
right and left sides of the Platen Glass.

Scanning Images
You can scan images from the machine to a computer without printing them and save them in 
popular image types, such as JPEG, TIFF, bitmaps, or PDF. The scanned data can be sent to one of 
the computers connected over a network as well as to a computer connected via USB. If you are 
scanning printed text, you can use the OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software to convert it to 
text data.
