2-39 Loading and Outputting Paper 2 Loading Envelopes in the Paper Source 2Place the stack of envelopes on a flat surface, flatten them to release any remaining air, and be sure that the edges are pressed tightly. CAUTION When loading paper, take care not to cut your hands with the edges of the paper. 3Loosen any stiff corners of the envelopes and flatten curls as shown in the figure. 4Align the edges of the envelopes on a flat surface.

IMPORTANT •Up to approximately 10 envelopes can be loaded in the paper cassette. •You cannot print on the reverse side (glued side) of envelopes. 6While holding the lock release lever of the side paper guides, slide the guides to the mark for the size of the loaded envelopes. The side paper guides move together.
