NOTE
•You can also specify the sharing settings during the local installation.
•Do not enter blank or special characters in [Share name].

IMPORTANT
Select [Do not share this printer] on the [Sharing] sheet to clear the printer share 
settings. If you are clearing printer share settings on an operating system equipped 
with the Windows Firewall, such as Window XP Service Pack 2, you need to use 
the utility software to clear the settings that were previously registered with...

-If you clicked [No], however, Windows Firewall was configured to block communication

IMPORTANT
If the CD-ROM Setup does not start automatically, select [Run] from the [Start] 
menu, enter D:\English\CNAB4MNU.exe, and click the [OK] button. (In this case 
the CD-ROM drive is assumed to be assigned to D:. The actual CD-ROM drive 
letter may be different depending on the computer you are using.)

6If there is a checkmark next to [Install Printer Driver through a 
USB Connection], remove the checkmark, then click [Next].
NOTE
Do not place a checkmark next to [Install Printer Driver through a USB 
Connection].
7Select [Use Network Printer] for [Port Settings], then click 
[Settings].

8Select the icon for the printer that is shared on the printer 
server, then click [OK].
9Select whether or not to use this printer as the default printer, 
then click [Next].

If you are using an operating system equipped with Windows Firewall, such as 
Windows XP Service Pack 2, the following window is displayed. Click [No].
You should only choose [Yes] if the computer you are currently installing is a print 
server.
