There are tw o methods for scaling a document: select the output size of the document to scale it automatically , or specify the scaling value manually. 1 Cli\bk [Page Setup]. NOTE For instructions on how to display the printer driver screen, see “Printing” or “Configuring the Default Print Settings” in the e-Manual. 2 Sele\bt paper size of the do\bument you \breated in the appli\bation fr om [Page Size]. 3 Sele\bt output size of the do\bument from [Output Size]. The output image is\I displayed in the preview area. 4 Cli\bk [OK]. NOTE • You cannot enlarge and reduce manually when\I using this function. • Although there may be a func tion for printing multiple cop\Iies depending on the a\Ipplication you are using, do not use it together with this \Ifunction. If you do, printing may not be executed correctly. • The display ma y differ according to the operating sy\Istem, as well as the type and version of the printer driver. 1-\fided Prin\bing and 2-\fided Prin\bing You can select whether to print on one side or \foth sides of each sheet of paper. If the machine you are using supports 2-sided prin ting, the default setting is 2-sided prin ting. IMPORTANT Precau\bion\f on 2-\fided pri\un\bing • Do not touch your document when \Imaking 2-sided printing until the process is complete. After printing on the front side is complete, the document is \Ipartially output, reserved, and fed into the machine agai\In for printing on the back\I side. • Be sure t o close the sub-output tray before making 2-sided printing. Prin\bing \bo \bhe back \fide of p\urin\bed documen\b (Manual 2-\fided prin\bing) 2-sided printing can be performed manually using \Ia printed document. Place a printed document in the\I multi-purpose tray to print on the back si\Ide*. To print on the back si\Ide of a printed document, smoot\Ih out the curling edges of the s\Iheets and place the\Im one by one in the multi-purpose tray. * This featur e is supported only for sheets printed from this machine. You cannot make a print on the printed side again. 1 A\b\bording to the paper size for 2-sided printing, ensure t o set the paper size swit\bh lever a\b\burately. * If not securely attached, documents may not be fed properly, or jammed.
