Flash Photography An EOS-dedicated EX-series or EZ-series Speedlite makes flash photography with the EOS-3 as easy as any AE mode. With an EX-series Speedlite, E-TTL autoflash photography as well as wireless E-TTL multi- flash photography is possible. 1. Flash Photography with Speedlite 550EX With Speedlite 550EX attached to the EOS-3, flash photography is as easy as any AE mode. You can also use the following features: (1) E-TTL Autoflash With E-TTL autoflash (preflash evaluative metering), optimum flash exposure can be obtained for the subject in focus.
