 Print keys:
Secure
Lets you print out data saved in 
memory by entering your four-digit 
password.
Job Cancel
Clears data from the printer 
memory.
2 Liquid Crystal Display (LCD)
Displays messages on the screen to 
help you to set up and use your 
MFC. The LCD will change color 
depending on the MFC status.

 Fax
Lets you access Fax mode.
 Copy
Lets you access Copy mode.
 Scan
Lets you access Scan mode.

Back light color shows the MFC status
The LCD back light will change color depending on the MFC status.
LCD MFC status Description
OffSleep Mode The power switch is off or the MFC is in 
Sleep mode.
OrangeInitializing The MFC is being initialized after you 
switched it on.
Warning Up in 
Sleep modeThe MFC is warning up for printing in 
Sleep mode.
Menu in Operation The Menu is in use.
Receiving Data 
from the ComputerThe MFC is either receiving data from the
