How to Use
This appliance is intended for household use only.
BEFORE FIRST USE
Caution: To protect against electric shock, do not immerse the coffeemaker
or allow AC cord to come into contact with water or other liquids.
1. Carefully unpack your coffeemaker. remove any labels from the outer
surfaces.
2. Clean the carafe, carafe lid, mill basket and mill basket lid in warm, soapy
water. rinse thoroughly and dry.

2122 3. After brewing is complete, remove carafe from warming plate and serve. Coffeemaker warming plate will cycle on and off to maintain proper coffee temperature for one hour before it automatically shuts off and the Power Light turns off. 4. HOW TO DECALCIFy yOUR COFFEEMAKER
1. Pour white into the carafe up to the 6-cup mark. Add cold water up to the
10-cup mark. Pour the water/vinegar mixture into the water reservoir and
place empty carafe onto the warming plate.
2. Insert the mill basket and lid into place. DO NOT USE COFFEE!
3. Press the mill button to turn the grinding blades off. The mill indicator
light will appear.
4. Press the power button to begin the cleaning cycle.
