Maintenance 52 EnglishMaintenance Care of the projector Your projector needs little maintenance. The only thing you need to do on a regular basis is to keep the lens clean. Never remove any parts of the projector except the lamp. Contact your dealer if other parts need replacing. Maintenance 54 EnglishTiming of replacing the lamp When the Lamp indicator lights up red or a message appears suggesting it is time to replace the lamp, please install a new lamp or consult your dealer. An old lamp may cause a malfunction in the projector and in some instances the lamp may explode. The Lamp indicator light and Temperature warning light will light up if the lamp becomes too hot. Maintenance 55 EnglishReplacing the lamp • If lamp replacement is performed while the projector is suspended upside-down from the ceiling, make sure that no one is underneath the lamp socket to avoid any possible injury or damage to the human eyes caused by fractured lamp. • To reduce the risk of electrical shock, always turn the projector off and disconnect the power cord before changing the lamp. • To reduce the risk of severe burns, allow the pr ojector to cool for at least 45 minutes before...

The Lamp Settings page displays. Press to highlight Reset lamp timer and press MODE/ENTER . A warning message displays asking if you want to reset the lamp timer.
