Operation 38 Color (depends on the selected input source)Increases or decreases the color intensity of the image. Tint (50) Adjusts the color tones of the image. The higher the value, the more reddish the image becomes. The lower the value, the more greenish the image becomes. We recommend you use the High Altitude Mode when your environment is higher than 3000 feet above sea level, or is hotter than 40 °C, or whenever the projector will be used for extended periods of time (>10 hours) without shutdown. Maintenance 44 Maintenance Care of the projector Your projector needs little maintenance. The only thing you need to do on a regular basis is to keep the lens clean. Never remove any parts of the projector except the lamp. Contact your dealer if other parts need replacing. Maintenance 45 Lamp information Calculation of lamp hour When the projector is in operation, the duration (in hours) of lamp usage is automatically calculated by the built-in timer. The method of calculating the equivalent lamp hour is as follows: Total (equivalent) lamp hour = (hours used in Economic mode) + 4/3 (hours used in normal mode) See Economic Mode (off) on page 42 for more information on Economic mode.
