Avaya, Inc. - 113 - PARTNER ACS 1600 DSL module User Guide Configuring Payload Scrambling You must enable payload scrambling (default = disabled) for the PARTNER ACS 1600 DSL module to “talk” to a DSLAM that uses payload scrambling. To enable payload scrambling: 1. On the Main Menu, select Configure WAN, and then type the slot number of the WAN interface that you want to configure. The WAN Configuration Menu displays. 2. Select Configure ATM Options. The ATM Configuration Menu displays. ***************************************** * ATM Configuration Menu * ***************************************** 1. Configure Payload Scrambling 2. Configure F4 OAM VPI 3. Configure F4 OAM Type 4. Display F4 OAM Configuration 5. Send OAM Loopback 6. Configure EmptyCells 3. Select Configure Payload Scrambling, and then do one of the following: To enable payload scrambling, type E. To disable payload scrambling, type D. Configuring the F4 OAM Cell To configure the F4 OAM Cell 1. On the Main Menu, select Configure WAN, and then type the slot number of the WAN interface that you want to configure. Configuring Frame Relay DLCIs The PARTNER ACS 1600 DSL module contains commands that allow you to configure Frame Relay DLCIs: Add New DLCI Modify Existing DLCI Delete DLCI Show Current DLCIs You can configure up to 24 DLCIs on the PARTNER ACS 1600 DSL module. Adding a DLCI To add a DLCI: 1. On the Main Menu, select Configure WAN, and then type the slot number of the WAN interface that you want to configure. The WAN Configuration Menu displays. 2. Select Configure DLCIs. The FR DLCI Config Menu displays. ***************************************** * FR DLCI Config Menu * ***************************************** 1. Add New DLCI 2.
