    Signature settings:
    Edit signature: Edit your si\bnature, which can be 
    added automatically \&to out\boin\b messa\bes.
    Add signature: Add the si\bnature to\& all out\boin\b 
    messa\bes.
    NOTe: Press the Menu Key > Restore default 
    settings to chan\be all the m\&essa\be settin\bs back\& to

    Press the Home Key >  > Email. You can enter 
    the Email Screen to s\&etup your email acc\&ount and 
    exchan\be emails.
    Creating an email Account
    1.    When you open Email for the first time, enter your 
    email address and p\&assword. Then tap Next.
    2.  Select the type of y\&our account and tap\& Next.
    3.    Edit the settin\bs for \&incomin\b server and\& out\boin\b 
    server. Then tap Next or Next[Check].
    4.    Tap Next[Check], and your phone wi\&ll connect 
    to the Internet and \&verify the settin\bs \&before 
    proceedin\b to the ne\&xt step. Please contact you\&r 
    mobile service prov\&ider and email serv\&ice provider 
    for more help.
      NOTe: Your phone knows the\& client settin\bs for\& lots 
    of email service pr\&oviders. If the email you u\&se is from 
    those providers, the phone will aut\&omatically confi\bure \&
    the incomin\b and out\&\boin\b settin\bs after \&you enter your 
    email address and p\&assword.
    5.    Set the email checki\&n\b frequency, download options, 
    account name and oth\&er settin\bs. Tap Done when 
    you finish.
    Your phone will sho\&w the inbox of the email acco\&unt 
    and start to downloa\&d email messa\bes.
    TIP: To add more email ac\&counts, open Email to 
    \bet the Inbox screen. Then press the Menu Key > 
    Accounts > Menu Key > Add account.
    Receiving emails
    Press the Menu Key > Refresh to download recent\& 
    emails. You can select Load more messages at the 
    bottom of the email l\&ist to download ear\&lier messa\bes.
    Composing and \fendi\Gng  
    an email
    After creatin\b an em\&ail account, you can compose  
    and send email mess\&a\bes.
    1.    Press the Menu Key > Compose from the 
    Inbox Screen.
    2.    Tap the \bo field to enter the r\&ecipient\fs address or 
    tap 
     to select your con\&tact or \broup.
        When you enter the \&address, matchin\b contacts on\& 
    the phone will be d\&isplayed. Separate each recipient \&
    with a comma.
     
    TIP: You can also press \&the Menu Key > Add Cc/Bcc 
    to add more recipie\&nts.
    3.    Enter the subject and\& the content of your\& email. If 
    necessary, chan\be the email pr\&iority.
        Press the Menu Key > More > Add attachment 
    to add files to the e\&mail.
    4.  Tap Send.

    Replying to or Forwarding  
    an email
    1.   Open the email you \&want to reply to or f\&orward from 
    the Inbox Screen.
    2.    Tap Reply or press the Menu Key > Forward to 
    reply to/forward the email.
        You can also tap Reply all to reply to all re\&cipients 
    of the email.
    3.  Enter the contents/re\&cipients of your em\&ail.
    4.  Tap Send.
    Deleting an Accoun\Gt
    1.    Open the Email application. If there is only o\&ne 
    account, press Menu Key > Accounts to \bet the 
    Accounts list.
    2.    Press and hold the \&account you want to delete and 
    select Remove account from the pop-up men\&u.
    3.    Tap OK to confirm. All email messa\bes i\&n the 
    account will be del\&eted.

    Tap the account you \&want to set from the Accounts 
    Screen and press th\&e Menu Key > More > Account 
    settings. You can \bet the settin\&\bs for the email 
    account. You can also press \&the Menu Key > More > 
    System settings to set up stora\be, exchan\be and 
    other settin\bs.

    							Getting Connected to t\be Internet

    Your phone\fs impressive networ\&kin\b capabilities a\&llow 
    you to access the I\&nternet or your cor\&porate network 
    with ease.
    You can use default \&connection settin\bs \&to connect  
    to the web via your\& mobile network (GP\&RS/EDGE/3G), 
    or Wi-Fi.
    The GPRS/EDGE/3G conn\&ection can be enabl\&ed/
    disabled manually. Press the Menu Key > Settings > 
    Wireless & networks > Mobile networks and tap 
    or clear the Data enabled check box.
    Adding a New GPR\f/
    eDGe/3G Connection
    To \bet connected via \&GPRS/EDGE/3G you nee\&d a 
    data plan with your\& service provider. Also if the 
    GPRS/EDGE/3G settin\bs\& are not pre-confi\bu\&red on 
    your phone, please contact you\&r provider to \bet th\&e 
    necessary informati\&on. 
    1.   Press the Menu Key > Settings > Wireless 
    & networks > Mobile networks > Access 
    Point Names.
    2.  Press the Menu Key > New APN.
    3.    Tap each item to ente\&r the information yo\&u receive 
    from your provider. 
    4.  Press the Menu Key > Save to complete.
    TIP: To set the APN to default setti\&n\bs, press the 
    Menu Key > Reset to default.
    Turning on Wi-Fi® 
    Wi-Fi provides wir\&eless Internet acce\&ss over distances o\&f 
    up to 300 feet (100\& meters).
    1.    Press the Menu Key > Settings > Wireless 
    & networks.
    2.  Tap the Wi-Fi box to turn it on.
    Connecting to a  
    Wi-Fi Network
    1.    Press the Menu Key > Settings > Wireless & 
    networks > Wi-Fi settings.
        The Wi-Fi access points\&, or “hotspots,” that your 
    phone has detected \&are displayed with \&their names 
    and security settin\b\&s.
    2.  Tap an access point \&to connect to it.
    If security feature\&s are implemented, you\fll need to 
    enter a password.
    C\becking t\be Wi-Fi  
    Network \ftatus
    You can check the Wi-Fi network by lo\&okin\b at the  
    icon in the status b\&ar. 
    Or tap the access p\&oint that the phone \&is currently 
    connected to in Wi-Fi settings. You can then check 
    the network status f\&rom the pop-up wind\&ow. 
    						
    							Getting Connected to t\be Internet

    Using t\be P\bone as a\G Modem
    You can access the I\&nternet on your PC \&via your phone 
    as a modem. Note the function m\&ay result in data 
    char\bes from your mo\&bile phone carrier\&. Please contact 
    them for details.
    enabling t\be P\bone a\Gs a Modem
    TIP\f: 
    •   Make sure that USB stor\&a\be is turned off b\&efore 
    enablin\b the modem f\&unction. To turn off USB 
    stora\be, swipe down the not\&ification panel and \&tap 
    \burn off USB storage.
    •    The PC accesses the \&Internet via the pho\&ne\fs mobile 
    network. Therefore, set up the GPRS/EDG\&E/3G 
    connection correctl\&y before you try to\& use the phone 
    as a modem.
    1.    When you connect yo\&ur phone to your PC\& with the 
    provided USB cable\& for the first time, a window will 
    pop up and prompt y\&ou to install the dr\&iver.
    2.    Double click the ex\&ecutable file (.exe)\& in the 
    window and follow \&the prompt to finish \&the driver 
    installation.
       
    NOTe: If the window doesn\&\ft pop up 
    automatically, please open the ne\&w CD-ROM drive 
    on your PC manually\& and find the execut\&able file  
    to run it.
    3.    Press the Menu Key > Settings > Wireless & 
    networks > \bethering & portabl\1e hotspot and 
    tap the USB tethering check box. A new network 
    connection will be \&created on your PC. 4.
       Go to Control Panel > Network on your PC to 
    enable the new netw\&ork connection.
        You can now launch \&the Internet browser\& on your PC 
    and start surfin\b.
    Disabling t\be Modem\G Function
    Press the Menu Key > Settings > Wireless & 
    networks > \bethering & portabl\1e hotspot and 
    clear the USB tethering check box. 
    You can also disabl\&e the modem by pulli\&n\b out the  
    USB cable.
    Using t\be P\bone as a\G  
    Wi-Fi Hotspot
    You can use the phon\&e as a portable WLAN router, 
    providin\b Wi-Fi connection fo\&r one or multiple P\&C or 
    other devices. This function needs \&a data connection o\&n   
    a mobile network an\&d may result in data\& char\bes.
    TIP\f: 
    •    The PC accesses the \&Internet via the pho\&ne\fs mobile 
    network. Therefore, set up the GPRS/EDG\&E/3G 
    connection correctl\&y before you try to\& use the phone 
    as a Wi-Fi hotspot.
    •    When the portable Wi-Fi hotspot functi\&on is  
    enabled, you cannot access \&the Internet with an\&y 
    application on your\& phone via its Wi-Fi connection.
    •    With the Wi-Fi hotspot functi\&on, you can  
    provide a Wi-Fi connection fo\&r up to 5 client  
    devices simultaneou\&sly.

    Getting Connected to t\be Internet 
    enabling t\be Wi-Fi Hotspot
    1.   Press the Home Key > Menu Key > Settings > 
    Wireless & networks > \bethering & portabl\1e 
    hotspot and tap the Portable Wi-Fi hotspot 
    check box.
    2.    Tap Portable Wi-Fi hotspot setti\1ngs > 
    Configure Wi-Fi hotspot.
    3.    Chan\be the name of t\&he hotspot and its s\&ecurity 
    settin\b, if necessary.
        The default hotspot i\&s set as an open on\&e. You  
    can tap Open and choose WPA/WPA\f PSK to set 
    up a password. The password must ha\&ve at least  
    8 characters.
    4.    Tap Save. Now you can find th\&e hotspot on other 
    devices and connec\&t to it.
    Disabling t\be Wi-Fi Hotspot
    Press the Menu Key > Settings > Wireless & 
    networks > \bethering & portabl\1e hotspot and 
    clear the Portable Wi-Fi hotspot check box. 
    						
    							Browsing t\be Internet

    You can use your ph\&one to browse the I\&nternet via a 
    GPRS, EDGE, 3G, or Wi-Fi connection. 
    Press the Home Key >

    Opening a Web Page
    Tap the address bar \&to enter the website\& you want to 
    browse. Then tap Go.
    Tap 
     beside the address\& bar or press the Menu Key 
    > Bookmarks. Select a bookmark \&to open.
    Tap 
     beside the address\& bar or press the Menu 
    Key > Bookmarks. Choose an item fro\&m the Most 
    visited tab or History tab. 
    Browsing Options
    Press the Menu Key to access the foll\&owin\b options 
    when browsin\b web p\&a\bes.
    Open a New window for web browsin\b.
    Exit the Browser applic\&ation.
    Access Bookmarks, most visited web si\&tes, and 
    browsin\b history.
    Switch browsin\b Windows.
    Refresh the current web pa\&\be. 
    Tap More to forward to the next web \&pa\be, add 
    bookmarks, search for and se\&lect text, share pa\be URL, 
    check pa\be info or \&download history, or confi\bure 
    browser settin\bs.
    Tap a URL link in a\& web pa\be to open, bookmark, save, 
    share the link, or to copy the lin\&k URL.
    Using Bookmarks
    To bookmark a web pa\&\be, open it and tap  or press 
    the Menu Key > Bookmarks. Then tap Add or Add 
    bookmark. Give the bookmark \&a name and tap OK.
    TIP: You can press the Menu Key > List view/
    \bhumbnail view to chan\be how you \&view bookmarks 
    on your phone scre\&en.
    editing a Bookmark
    1.  Open a Browser win\&dow.
    2.   Tap 
     or press the Menu Key > Bookmarks.
    3.    Select an item you w\&ant to edit and hold\& on it until 
    the shortcut menu po\&ps up.
    4.   Select Edit bookmark.
    5.    Edit the name or loca\&tion, and then tap OK to 
    save it.
    Deleting a Bookmar\Gk
    1.  Open a Browser win\&dow.
    2.   Tap 
     or press the Menu Key > Bookmarks.
    3.     Select an item you w\&ant to delete and ho\&ld on it 
    until the shortcut me\&nu pops up.
    4.   Select Delete bookmark and tap OK to confirm.
    C\banging Browser \fettings
    Press the Menu Key > More > Settings from a 
    browser window to c\&han\be browser settin\&\bs. 
    						
    							Bluetooth®

    Bluetooth is a short-ran\be wireless commun\&ication 
    technolo\by. Phones or other de\&vices with Bluetooth 
    capabilities can ex\&chan\be information w\&irelessly within 
    a distance of about\& 10 meters. The Bluetooth devices 
    must be paired befo\&re the communication\& is performed.
    Using Bluetooth 
    1.   Press the Menu Key > Settings > Wireless & 
    networks and tap Bluetooth to turn on Bluetooth. 
          When Bluetooth is on, the 
     icon will appear \&in the 
    status bar.
    2.    Tap Bluetooth settings \1> Scan for devices. 
    Your phone will sho\&w all visible Bluetooth devices 
    in ran\be.
    3.    Tap the device you w\&ant to pair with and\&, if required, 
    enter your PIN and \&tap OK.
        If a PIN is requir\&ed, the same PIN shoul\&d be entered 
    on the other device\&. Refer to the user \&manual for the 
    other Bluetooth device for informa\&tion on pairin\b 
    mode and PIN.
    Tap the Discoverable check box if the other devi\&ce 
    tries to pair with y\&our phone. 
    						
    							\f\booting Video wit\b  
    Your Camcorder
    Open the camcorder \&by pressin\b the Home Key >  
    > Camcorder. Then select  to start shootin\b, and  to stop. Select the picture \&in the ri\bht corner \&of the 
    screen to view the \&video you\fve just ta\&ken. Or press the 
    Menu Key > Gallery to see all your vi\&deo clips.
    Adjusting Your Video \fettings
    From the Camcorder Sc\&reen, tap  to adjust color 
    effect, video quality, video/audio encod\&er, video 
    duration, and camcorder rese\&t.
    Tap 
     to chan\be white bal\&ance settin\b.
    Tap High/Low/MMS/You\bube/
     to chan\be 
    video quality, video/audio encod\&er, and video  
    duration to\bether.
    Playing Your Music
    You can play di\bital\& audio files from yo\&ur phone\fs 
    memory card in Music.
    1.    Press the Home Key > 
     > Music to open the 
    Music Screen.
    2.    Select Artists/Albums/Son\1gs/Playlists to find 
    the son\bs you want to play.
    3.  Tap an item from the \&list to start playin\&\b.
    4.  Adjust the volume wi\&th the Volume Keys.

    Taking Pictures wit\b  
    Your Camera
    Your phone has a 5-\&me\bapixel camera. Open it by 
    pressin\b the Home Key >  > Camera. 
    Tap 
     to take a picture. To view it, just tap the pictur\&e 
    in the ri\bht corner \&of the screen. Or press the Menu 
    Key > Gallery to view all your p\&ictures.
    Adjusting Camera \fe\Gttings
    From the Camera Screen, tap  to set up focus 
    mode, exposure, picture size/quali\&ty, color effect, ISO, 
    anti-bandin\b, saturation, contrast, sharpness, and 
    camera reset.
    Tap 
     to choose whether \&to save photo\fs \beo\braphic 
    location.
    Tap 
     to chan\be white bal\&ance.
    Tap 
     to turn on or off \&shutter sound.
    Tap 1x to zoom in or out.
    TIP: To chan\be quickly fr\&om camera to camcorder 
    or vice versa, use the switch  icon. Use the  bar to adjust the b\&ri\bhtness.

    Creating Playlists
    Playlists help you \&or\banize your music\& files:
    1. Select a music file \&you want to add to a new \&playlist.
    2.    Press and hold the \&file until a shortcu\&t menu  
    pops up.
    3.  Tap Add to playlist.
    4.  Tap New.
    5.  Type the playlist na\&me and tap Save. 
    Managing Playlists\G
    1.    From the Music Scree\&n, tap Playlists to see 
    them all.
    2.    Press and hold the \&playlist you want to play or edit \&
    until a shortcut men\&u pops up.
    3.  Tap Play, Delete or Rename.
    Adding a Song to a \:Playlist
    1.    Open Music and find the son\b y\&ou want under 
    Artists, Albums, Songs, or Playlists.
    2.    Press and hold the \&son\b until a shortcu\&t menu  
    pops up.
    3.  Select Add to playlist.
    4.  Select a playlist.
    \fetting a \fong as Ri\Gngtone
    1.    Find the music file \&under Artists, Albums, Songs, 
    or Playlists.
    2.    Press and hold the \&son\b until a shortcu\&t menu  
    pops up.
    3.  Select Use as phone ringt\1one.
    Playing Your Videos
    To play a video file\&, press the Home Key >  > 
    Videos. This will open the Videos Screen and s\&how the 
    video files saved i\&n your memory card.\& Tap a video file 
    to start playin\b.
    Information
