Changing the filters
3. Open the filter lid by pushing the two buttons simultaneously 
under the handle. Use AEG original filters: AEF 12, AEFG 12W,  
AFS 1W.

4. Lift out the filter and check the color of the frame: 
Green colored =Must be replaced by a new filter.  
(non-washable filter) Blue colored = Replace by a

(dirty side) in lukewarm tap water. Tap the filter frame to 
remove the water. Repeat the process four times.

18Replacing the motor filter
1. Replace the motor filter when dirty or after every 
5th s-bag®. Push the filter holder down and pull it 
out. Exchange the filter and close the lid.

fünften s-bag® wechseln. Filterhalterung nach unten 
drücken und herausziehen. Filter austauschen und 
den Deckel schließen.

handle to clean the nozzle. 2. 
If the wheels are stuck, clean them by removing the 
wheel cap with a small screwdriver. 3. 
Unscrew the wheel axis and clean all parts. Refit in 
reverse order.

cleaner tube and remove entangled threads, etc. by snipping them away with scissors. Use 
the hose handle to clean the nozzle. *
