104Chapter 3 Main Module Reassembly Procedure Replacing the CPU IMPORTANT: The CPU has a Pin1 locator that must be positioned corresponding to the marker on the CPU socket. 1.Place the CPU into the CPU socket as shown, taking note of the Pin1 locator. 2.Using a flat-bladed screw driver, rotate the CPU locking screw 180° clockwise to secure the CPU in place. Chapter 3105 Replacing the Thermal Module IMPORTANT: Apply a suitable thermal grease and ensure all heat pads are in place before replacing the Thermal Module. The following thermal grease types are approved for use: •Silmore GP50 •Hone (1)ywell •Jet Motor 7762 The following thermal pads are approved for use: • Eapus XR-PE 1.Remove all traces of thermal grease from the CPU using a lint-free cloth or cotton swab and Isopropyl Alcohol, Acetone (1), or other approved cleaning agent. 2.Apply a small...

106Chapter 3 Replacing the Mainboard 1.Connect the Bluetooth to mainboard cable. 2.Apply the adhesive tape to the Bluetooth cable. 3.Place the mainboard on a clean, dust-free surface. Connect the power cable. NOTE: Ensure the I/O ports are positioned correctly through the casing.
