Cautions ‰ 
Avoid installing the scale in direct sunlight.
 
‰ 
Avoid over / shock load that could cause damage to the scale. ‰ 
Use the scale under conditions of -10°C ~ 40°C, less than 85% R.H. ‰ 
Do not mix the type of batteries. Replace the batteries all together. ‰ 
If the scale is not to be used for a long period of time, remove all batteries. ‰

Installing the batteries / Connecting the AC adapter   ‰ 
Before use , remove the insulation tape from the battery compartment. 
Installing / Replacing the batteries 
Remove the battery cover.   
Insert 4 new batteries (AA size) into the 
battery compartment, taking extreme 
care of the polarities.   
Replace the battery cover. 
The batteries provided with the 
scale are for testing the 
performance of the scale and   
may have a limited life. 
 
AC adapter (optional) 
Verify that the AC adapter is 
correct. Open the rubber cap and 
plug the AC adapter into the AC 
adapter jack. 
 
 
 Weighing procedures 1. Turning the scale on / off 
 Press the 
 ON/OFF 
  key to turn the scale on. The scale displays all segments for a few 
seconds and then displays zero. Press the 
 ON/OFF 
  key again to turn the scale off. 
 
2. Selecting the weighing unit 
 Press the 
 UNITS 
  key to select the weighing unit. The scale will power up with the 
weighing unit that was in use when turned off last time. 
 
3. Weighing 
  Verify that the reading is zero. If not, press the 
 RE-ZERO 
  key to zero the display. If 
you use a container for weighing, place an empty container on the weighing pan and 
press the 
 RE-ZERO 
  key to zero the display. 
Place the objects to be weighed on the pan or in the container. When the reading 
becomes stable, the STABLE indicator 
 is displayed. 
 
Note Automatic power-off function 
If the scale is left ON and the STABLE indicator is displayed, the automatic power-off 
function turns power off after approximately 5 minutes. To disable or enable this 
function, press the 
 ON/OFF 
  key while pressing the 
 RE-ZERO 
 key.  
Then 
 (disabled) or 
  (enabled) will be displayed. Select the setting 
by pressing the 
 RE-ZERO 
 key and press the 
 UNITS 
 key. The scale displays 
  and returns to the weighing mode. 
 
Error message   Overload. Remove the objects from the pan.   The scale is out of zero range or unstable when powered on.   Low battery. Replace the batteries or use the AC adapter.

Balanza compacta serie HT 
Precauciones ‰ 
Evite instalar la balanza en un lugar expuesto a la luz solar directa. ‰ 
Evite la sobrecarga o impactos que puedan causar daño a la balanza. ‰ 
Utilice la balanza a una temperatura ambiente de -10°C ~ 40°C, y humedad relativa 
menos de 85%. ‰ 
No mezcle diferentes tipos de pilas. Reemplace todas las pilas con las nuevas. ‰ 
Si la balanza no va a utilizarse por un período prolongado, retire todas las pilas. ‰ 
Utilice sólo el adaptador de CA destinado a esta balanza (el adaptador de CA es optativo).

Instalación de las pilas / Conexión del adaptador de CA‰ Antes de su uso, retire la cinta aislante del compartimiento de las pilas. 
Instalación / Cambio de las pilas 
Retire la tapa. 
Introduzca 4 pilas nuevas (tamaño 
AA) en el compartimento, prestando 
mucha atención a la polaridad. 
Coloque la tapa de nuevo. 
Las pilas incluidas en la balanza son 
para comprobar su funcionamiento; 
por lo que su duración será limitada. 
 
Adaptador de CA (optativo) 
Compruebe que el adaptador de CA 
está en perfecto estado. Abra el 
tapón de caucho y conecte el 
adaptador de CA en el enchufe. 
 Procedimientos de pesaje 1. Encendido/apagado de la balanza 
  Presione el interruptor 
 ON/OFF 
 para encenderla.  
El visualizador de la balanza enciende todos los segmentos por unos segundos y 
luego muestra cero. Vuelva a presionar el interruptor 
 ON/OFF 
 para apagarla. 
 
2. Seleccione la unidad de pesaje.

  para seleccionar la unidad de pesaje. El visualizador 
indica la unidad de pesaje que ha sido utilizada cuando ésta fue apagada la última vez. 
 
3. Pesaje 
  Asegúrese de que la lectura sea cero. Si no, presione el interruptor 
 RE-ZERO 
 para 
ajustarla a cero. Si desea utilizar un contenedor para pesaje, coloque el contenedor 
vacío sobre el platillo de pesaje y presione el interruptor 
 RE-ZERO 
  para ajustar el 
visualizador a cero. Coloque los objetos a ser pesados sobre el platillo o en el 
contenedor. Cuando la lectura se quede estable, se visualiza STABLE 
. 
 
Notas Función de apagado automático 
Cuando la balanza se queda en ON y se visualiza STABLE, la función de apagado 
automático apaga la alimentación aproximadamente 5 minutos después. Para 
desativar o activar esta función, presione el interruptor 
 ON/OFF

Vorsichtsmaßnahmen ‰ 
Die Waage nicht im direkten Sonnenlicht aufstellen.
 
‰ 
Starke Erschütterungen vermeiden, da diese die Waage beschädigen können. ‰ 
Die Waage bei Temperaturen von -10°C bis 40°C und weniger als 85% relativer 
Luftfeuchtigkeit betreiben. ‰ 
Nicht verschiedene Sorten von Batterien mischen. Die Batterien immer gemeinsam ersetzen. ‰ 
Wenn die Waage längere Zeit über nicht verwendet werden soll, alle Batterien entnehmen. ‰ 
Nur das vorgeschriebene Netzteil für die Waage verwenden (das Netzteil ist Sonderzubehör).

Einsetzen der Batterien / Anschließen des Netzteils ‰ Entfernen Sie vor der Benutzung das Isolierband aus dem Batteriefach
 
Einsetzen/Austauschen der Batterien 
Nehmen Sie den Batteriefachdeckel ab. 
Setzen Sie 4 neue Batterien (Größe AA) in 
das Batteriefach ein. Achten Sie dabei 
unbedingt auf die Polarität. Bringen Sie den 
Batteriefachdeckel wieder an.   
Die mit der Waage mitgelieferten Batterien sind 
für die Prüfung der Waage gedacht und haben 
möglicherweise eine begrenzte Lebensdauer. 
 
Netzteil (optional) 
Überprüfen Sie, dass Sie das   
richtige Netzteil verwenden.   
Öffnen Sie die Gummikappe und 
stecken Sie den Netzteilstecker in 
die Netzteilanschlussbuchse. 
 Wiegeverfahren 1. Ein-/Ausschalten der Waage 
 Drücken Sie die 
 ON/OFF 
-Taste zum Einschalten. Die Waage zeigt einige Sekunden lang alle 
Segmente an und zeigt dann Null. Drücken Sie die 
 ON/OFF 
-Taste erneut zum Ausschalten. 
 
2. Die Wiege-Einheit wählen 
  Drücken Sie die 
 UNITS 
-Taste zum Wählen der Wiege-Einheit. Die Waage schaltet mit 
der Wiege-Einheit ein, die bei der letzten Benutzung verwendet wurde. 
 
3. Wiegen 
  Prüfen Sie, ob die Ablesung Null ist. Wenn nicht, drücken Sie die 
 RE-ZERO 
-Taste, um das 
Display auf Null zu schalten. Wenn Sie einen Behälter zum Wiegen verwenden, setzen Sie 
einen leeren Behälter auf die Wiegewanne und drücken dann die 
 RE-ZERO 
-Taste, um das 
Display auf Null zu schalten. 
Legen Sie die zu wiegenden Objekte auf die Wiegewanne oder in den Behälter. Wenn die 
Ablesung stabil wird, erscheint die Anzeige 
. 
 
Hinweis Automatische Abschaltfunktion 
Wenn die Wage eingeschaltet gelassen wird und die Anzeige STABLE erscheint, schaltet 
die automatisch Abschaltfunktion das Gerät nach ca. 5 Minuten aus. Zum Deaktivieren 
oder Aktivieren dieser Funktion drücken Sie die 
 ON/OFF 
-Taste, während Sie die   
 
RE-ZERO 
-Taste gedrückt halten.   
Dann erschein 
 (deaktiviert) oder 
  (aktiviert) erscheint. Wählen Sie die 
Einstellung durch Drücken der 
 RE-ZERO 
-Taste und drücken Sie die 
 UNITS 
-Taste. Die 
Waage zeigt 
  an und schaltet auf den Wiegen-Modus zurück. 
 
Fehlermeldung 
  Überlast. Entfernen Sie Überlast von der Wiegewanne.   Die Waage ist beim Einschalten außerhalb des Nullbereichs oder instabil.   LSchwache Batterie. Ersetzen Sie die Batterien oder verwenden Sie das Netzteil.

Mise en place des piles /Mise en marche de l’adaptateur à 
courant ‰ Avant utilisation, retirez le ruban isolant du compartiment à piles.
 
Mise en place/Remplacement des piles 
Retirez le couvercle des piles. 
Insérez 4 nouvelles piles (AA) dans 
le compartiment à piles, en prenant 
grand soin des polarités. 
Remplacez le couvercle des piles. 
Les piles fournies avec la balance servent 
à tester ses performances et peuvent donc 
avoir une durée de vie plus courte. 
 
Adaptateur à courant (optionnel) 
Vérifiez que l’adaptateur à courant est 
correct. Ouvrez le couvercle en 
caoutchouc et introduisez l’adaptateur 
à courant dans son jack. 
 Procédures de pesage 1. Faire marcher et arrêter la balance 
  Appuyez sur la cléf 
 ON/OFF 
  pour faire marcher la balance. La balance affiche tous les 
segments pendant quelques secondes et alors indique le zéro. Appuyez sur la clef 
 
ON/OFF 
  de nouveau pour arrêter la balance. 
 
2. Choisir l’ unité de pesage 
  Appuyez    sur la clef 
 UNITS 
  pour choisir l’ unité de pesage. La balance se mettra en 
marche avec l’unité de pesage qui avait été utilisée quand elle a été arrêtée la dernière fois. 
 
3. Pesage 
  Vérifiez que la lecture est bien zéro. Sinon, appuyer sur la clef 
 RE-ZERO 
 pour mettre 
l’affichage à zéro. Si vous utilisez un récipient    pour pesage, placez le récipient vide sur 
le plateau de pesage et appuyez sur la cléf 
 RE-ZERO 
  pour mettre l’affichage à zéro. 
Placez les objets devant être pesés sur le plateau de pesage ou dans le récipient.   
Quand la lecture devient stable, l’indicateur STABLE 
 est affiché. 
 
Note Fonction d’arrêt de puissance automatique 
Si la balance est laissée ON (en marche) et l’indicateur STABLE est affiché, la fonction 
d’arrêt de puissance automatique fait arrêter la balance approximativement 5 minutes après. 
Pour mettre hors de servide ou en marche cette fonction, appuyez sur le clef 
 ON/OFF 
pendant que vous appuyez sur la clef 
 RE-ZERO 
.  
En suite, 
  (hors de service) ou 
  (en service) sera affiché. 
Choisissez le mode appuyant sur la clef 
 RE-ZERO 
  et appuyez sur la clef 
 UNITS 
. La 
balance montre 
  et devient au mode de pesage. 
 
Message d’erreur 
  Surcharge. Enlevez les objets excessifs du plateau de pesage.   La balance est hors le gamme de zéro ou instable en démarrage.   Piles faibles. Changez les piles ou utilisez un adaptateur à courant.

Verificate che l’adattatore di rete CA sia 
del tipo corretto. Aprite il cappuccio di 
gomma e collegate l’adattatore di rete CA 
alla presa per adattatore di rete CA. 
 
 Procedura di pesatura 1. Per accendere/spegnere la bilancia 
  Per accenderla premete il tasto 
 ON/OFF 
. La bilancia mostrerà per alcuni secondi tutte le 
indicazioni e quindi il valore zero. Per spegnere la bilancia premete nuovamente il tasto 
 ON/OFF 
. 
 
2. Selezione dellunità di pesatura 
  Per selezionare lunità di pesatura desiderata premete il tasto 
 UNITS 
. Alla riaccensione la bilancia 
simposta automaticamente sullunità di pesatura selezionata prima dellultimo spegnimento. 
 
3. Pesatura 
  Verificate innanzi tutto che la bilancia visualizzi il valore zero. Se non visualizza il 
valore zero premete il tasto 
 RE-ZERO 
. Se per la pesatura si fa uso di un contenitore, 
è innanzi 
 RE-ZERO 
  per azzerarne la lettura. 
Ponete sul piatto o nel container il materiale da pesare. Quando la lettura diviene 
stabile appare lindicatore STABLE 
. 
 
Nota Funzione di autospegnimento 
La bilancia si spegne automaticamente dopo circa cinque minuti se la si lascia accesa mentre 
è visualizzato lindicatore STABLE. Per attivare o disattivare la funzione di autospegnimento è 
sufficiente premere contemporaneamente i tasti 
 ON/OFF 
 e  RE-ZERO 
. 
Apparirà quindi 
 (disattivata)  oppure 
 (attivata).  Selezionate 
limpostazione desiderata premendo il tasto 
 RE-ZERO 
 e quindi il tasto 
 UNITS 
. La 
bilancia mostrerà quindi 
  e farà ritorno alla modalità di pesatura. 
 
Messaggio derrore 
  Sovraccarico. Rimuovete dal piatto il peso in eccesso.   La bilancia non è correttamente azzerata oppure allaccensione è instabile.   Batterie scariche. Sostituitele oppure usate ladattatore di rete CA.
