     Tips on Creating So\bn\Yd
     Use the BLEND/GA\bN t knob to mix the 
    amount of direct pi\dckup sound with the\d mic 
    simulation sound wh\den an\f mic t\fpe (ex\dcept 
    for EG CLN) is sel\dected. Control the \dguitar’s 
    volume with the VO\dLUME 
    !4 knob.
    	 Mic/Amp Type Descriptions: THR5A
    CONDENSER: The condenser micr\dophone 
    setting gives the \dacoustic guitar a \drich, 
    midrange tone.
    DYNAMIC: The d\fnamic microp\dhone setting 
    gives the acoustic\d guitar a tight to\dnal core.
    TUBE: The tube micropho\dne setting gives t\dhe 
    acoustic guitar a \drich midrange tone.\d
    NYLON: Perfect for use with \dan acoustic-
    electric classical\d or n\flon string gu\ditar.
    EG CLN: This setting is de\dsigned for electric\d 
    guitars and deliver\ds a clear, rich, clean 
    tone characteristi\dc of an American c\dombo 
    amp and the charact\deristic sound of a \d12-
    inch speaker cabin\det.
    t GAIN (THR10/10C/10\YX and THR5 only)
     Adjusts the amount \dof guitar distortio\dn. 
    Rotate the knob cl\dockwise to increas\de the 
    amount of distortio\dn.
    * On the THR10/10C, t\Yhe blend f\bnction, wh\Yich 
    blends the pick\bp di\Yrect so\bnd with the m\Yic sim\b -

     Saves up to five se\dts of amp section \dcontrol -
    ler settings (GA\bN,\d MASTER, BASS, M\bDDL\dE, 
    TREBLE, EFFECT, DLY/REV). Press and 
    hold the number of \dthe switch \fou want\d to 
    save \four settings \dto (about 2 seconds\d). 
    The save operation\d is complete when \dthe 
    memor\f number for the sw\ditch being pushed 
    appears in the LED \ddispla\f. Press one of the\d 
    numbered switches (\dless than 2 seconds\d) to

     To reset user memor\d\f 1-5 contents to 
    their factor\f defaults, switch \don the power 
    while holding down \dUSER MEMORY

    Preca\btions in rega\Yrd to \bsing the USB \Yjack
    Make sure \fou follo\dw the points below\d when 
    connecting a compu\dter to the THR USB\d jack. 
    Failing to do so ma\d\f result in the com\dputer or 
    the THR freezing o\dr shutting down, as\d well as 
    corruption or even\d loss of data. \bf t\dhe device or 
    computer does freez\de, restart the app\dlication or 
    computer.
    * Before mak\fng any connect\fons, make sure that the power on all dev\fces \fs sw\ftched OFF.

    When

    THR5/THR5A) of the\d connected THR amp \das the 
    computer’s audio output (pag\de 16).
    Use the supplied US\dB cable to connect\d the 
    computer’s USB jack to the \dUSB jack on the TH\dR 
    as shown in the dia\dgram below.
    This lets \fou pla\f \daudio files on the c\domputer 
    through the speake\drs on the THR. Con\dnect 
    \four guitar to the \dunit and pla\f along\d. On the 
    THR10/10C/10X the au\ddio volume is contr\dolled 
    using the USB/AUX \dOUTPUT control kno\db.
    * On the THR5/5A, \bse \Ythe vol\bme control on \Ythe

    \bncluded with the THR is a download access code for 
    Cubase A\b music production software. Using Cubase 
    A\b \fou can record a guitar connected to the THR and 
    edit songs.

    \bnstalling Cubase A\d\b requires an activ\de \bnternet

    Download and install\d the THR Editor (pa\dge 16).
    Use the supplied US\dB cable to connect\d the 
    computer’s USB jack to the \dUSB jack on the TH\dR 
    as shown in the dia\dgram below.
    The THR Editor lets\d \fou change setting\ds (pa-
    rameters) in the T\dHR using the displa\d\f shown 
    below. After editing the\d settings with \four\d com-
    puter, \fou can save them\d in \four computer, and 
    create a librar\f of sound settings\d. Holding down 
    the USER MEMORY button for a few\d seconds 
    on the THR10/10C/10X\d saves the setting\ds being 
    edited to the unit’\ds internal memor\f.
