9 Names And Funct\fons q (Power Switch) This is the unit’s power switch. When the power is \dON, the lamp corre\d - sponding to the sel\dected amp t\fpe and t\dhe Power Lamp in the \dspeaker cabinet li\dght. * The Power Lamp in the speaker cabinet can be switched ON or OFF \bsing the THR Editor\f (page 18)\f w LED Display \bndicates each of the THR’s settings and con- ditions. e TAP/TUNER n T\bner F\bnction Holding the switch \dfor 1 second engage\ds the tuner function and \dlights the indica- tors. The tuner is calib\drate to A4=440Hz. \dT une the guitar until the p\ditch that \fou want \dto tune to appears in the disp\dla\f. T uning is complete \dwhen onl\f the in the center of the displa\f is visible\d. Press the T AP/TUNER switch (l\dess than one second) to turn OFF\d the tuner functio\dn. * When the t\bner f\bnction is set ON, g\bitar so\bnd to the main speakers, PHONES, and USB is m\bted\f In- p\bt received from the AUX and USB jacks is o\btp\bt\f n Tap Tempo F\bnction When a DL Y or DLY/REV effect is se\dlected with the DLY/REV !2 control, the temp\do of the dela\f can be se\dt b\f tapping (more \dthan twice) on the swit\dch. n Extended Stereo Se\Ytting Hold the switch for\d more than three s\deconds to switch the Exte\dnded Stereo* functi\don ON/ OFF . The G\dA\bN t control provides pr\deamp gain and disto\drtion while the MASTER y control affects p\dower amp level. The res\dponse of the MASTE\dR y control differs de\dpending on the amp \dmodel used but it affects\d volume, gain and p\dower amp compression.Us\ding the GU\bTAR OUT- PUT !3 control \fou can us\de the amp’s GA\bN t and MASTER y controls to set \fo\dur tone at an\f level. THR utilizes a new\dl\f designed amp-mode\dling technolog\f using Y amaha’s Virtual Circuitr\f Modeling (VCM) tech\dnolog\f. VCM gives THR the power to m\dodel real amps incr\ded- ibl\f accuratel\f, with each contro\dl working and responding exac\dtl\f as it does on t\dhe real thing. Amp Type Descriptions: THR10/ THR5 CLEAN: Rich, clean tones \dfrom a 6L6 power section with gentl\de breakup for incr\dedible jazz, blues and cou\dntr\f sounds. * When the BASS, MIDDLE, and TREBLE controls are all set to 0, there is no g\bitar so\bnd o\btp\bt\f Pitch is low In t\bnePitch is high
