8-29 Drive track adjustment WARNING@ Be sure to have a Yamaha dealer make this adjustment. Support the snowmobile securely on a suitable stand before working underneath the snowmo- bile. Operate the engine in a well-ventilated area. @ 1. Lift the rear of the snowmobile onto a suitable stand to raise the drive track off the ground. 2. Loosen the rear axle nut 1. 3. 8-30 CAUTION:@ The right and left adjusters should be turned to an equal amount. @ 6. Recheck alignment and deflection. If necessary, repeat steps 3 to 5 until the proper adjustment is achieved. 7. 8-34 ESU00355 Battery This snowmobile is equipped with a sealed-type (MF) battery, which does not require any maintenance. There is no need to check the electrolyte or to add distilled water. To charge the battery Have a Yamaha dealer charge the battery as soon as possible if it seems to have discharged.
