Clearing Paper Jams
Phaser® 7760 Color Laser Printer  6-11
Jam at Tray 3, 4, or 5
Follow these steps to clear the jam.
1.Open Left Door C.
2. Remove the jammed paper. Confirm th at all paper fragments are removed.
3. Close Left Door C.

Pull out the tray specified on the control panel.
5. Remove crumpled paper from the tray.
Note: If you have a high-capacity feeder, lift the  cover on the left side of the tray and 
remove the jammed paper.

Verify that the paper is loaded correctly in th e tray and that the guides are pressed firmly 
against the paper.
7. Push the tray completely into the printer.

Follow these steps to clear the jam.
1.Open the left door (A, B, or C) specified on the control panel.

Jam at the Finisher - Area 2
Follow these steps to clear the jam.
1.Open the finisher door. 
2. Open the handle (2a or 2b) specified on the control panel.
3. If necessary, rotate knob  2c counterclockwise.
4. Pull the jammed paper out of the finisher. Co nfirm that all paper fragments are removed.
5. Close handle 2a and/or 2b by moving them to the left.
6. Close the finisher door.

Follow these steps to clear the jam.
1.Open the finisher door. 
2. Open handle 3 by pulling it down. 
3. Pull the jammed paper out of the finisher. Co nfirm that all paper fragments are removed.
4. Close handle 3.
5. Close the finisher door.

2. Pull out the booklet drawer (labeled 4).
3. Remove the jammed paper. Confirm th at all paper fragments are removed.
