ISetting rhe Film Counler Every iime the film is odvonced, the film counter showsthe number of exposures siill ovoiloble. li thus runs bock-words from No.36 or 20 (the first exposure) io No. l. With 36-exposure cosseltes: Turn the milled knob (18) until thered leiter F oppeors below lhe index mork (o). PJll ouf theropid winding lever (27) once or twice until it locks, press ihereleose button (9), ond once more work fhe ropid windinglever until it locks ogoin. The red mork for No.36 now co-incides with the index mork (b), ond the film is reody for thefirst exposure.With 2O-exposure cossettes: Turn the milled knob (18) until thered mork for No. 22 co-rncides with the index mork (c). Thenproceed os obove uniil the fiqure 20 oppeors in the window -bs in (d) - for the first exp-osure.The film indicotor in the rewind knob is intended solely os onoid to your memory. Like the film indicoior, the ASA-DIN film speed window on the comero is onoid to memory, for the speed of the film looded into the comero is of con-sideroble importonce in setting the correct operture ond shutier speed (seepoges 8 to 10). I Suins rhe Film Speed Fully press in the lever (17), ond iurn thefront milled rim (see whiie orrow) of thecombined operture ond film speed ring (6) until the required film speed figure oppeorsin the ASA or DIN window (12). Releose thelever ogoin, ond the front rim is once morecoupled with the operture setting ring. lf the film in use is roted ot o speed in befweenfwo figures in lhe film speed window, intermediolesettings ore olso possible. For instonce, with ofilm of 32 ASA, let the milled ring engoge betweenthe figures 25 ond 50.T www.orphancameras.com
) -Unloodins After the lost frome the exposed film, must be rewound from the ioke-up spool into the doylight cosseite: o Push the reversing lever (5) bockwords; the rewind knob (4) will spring up into iis operofing position (see illustrotion). o Turn the rewind knob in the direction of the orrow while observing the film counfer window. The film counter now runs bock from No. 1 (the losl exposure). When ofter No. 36 or 20 the red letter . F or the red mork for No. 22 respectively is below ihe index mork, the film is fullyrewound.
