Capture Modes
Set the capturing method that is used for taking images.
1. Rotate the mode dial to [

PLAYBACK MODE
In the  Playback mode, you can view your images or play back video clips. This mode
also provides for enlargement, thumbnail image-display, and slide shows. The thumbnail
view allows you to quickly search for an image that you want.
Viewing Your Images (Single-Frame Playback)
In this mode you may play back still images one image at a time.
1. Rotate the mode dial to [

Displaying Image Information
When playing back images you may display image information as well as the image itself.
1. Rotate the mode dial to [ 
 ] playback mode.

Zoom Playback
While reviewing your images, you may enlarge a selected portion of an image.  The camera
has the ability to zoom (enlarge) images during playback at 2X or 4X. This magnification
allows you to view fine details.
1. Rotate the mode dial to [ 
 ] playback mode.
2. Use the  or  buttons to select the image you want to
enlarge.
3. Adjust the zoom ratio by using the [T] telephoto
button or [W] wide-angle button.
Pressing the [T] telephoto button will enlarge the

Slide Show Display
The slide show function enables you to play back your images automatically in sequential
order as a slide show. This is a very useful and entertaining feature reviewing images and
for presentations.

Protecting Images and Video Clips
The protection feature allows you to protect selected images or video clips from accidental
erasure.
Protecting one image or video clip
1. Rotate the mode dial to [  ] playback mode and
power on the camera.

3. Select [PROTECT] using the 
 / buttons, then press

Erasing Images
To erase one image or one video clip , use the  erase button on the rear side of the
camera. To erase all images or video clips at once, use the delete option in Playback menu.
To erase one image or video clip at a time

Formatting an SD Memory Card
Formatting an SD memory card will erase all the images, video clips, and non-camera data
on your SD memory card. Be sure the SD memory card is properly inserted into the camera
before formatting it. An SD memory card cannot be formatted if it is LOCKED.

MOVIE MODE
Recording Video Clips
The movie mode allows you to record video clips at a resolution of 320x240 pixels (QVGA.)
You can also record sound with your video.
1. Rotate the mode dial to [ 
 ] movie mode.
2. Slide the POWER switch and power on the camera.
3. Press the chutter button fully, and then release.
This begins recording a movie, and the front and
back LEDs light up.
Fully press the shutter button again to stop
recording and save the movie to your SD memory
card.

TRANSFERRING RECORDED IMAGES AND VIDEO CLIPS TO YOUR COMPUTER
You can share recorded images and video clips with your family or friends via e-mail or
