    4. Using the Transition Detector Function
    Whle	the	 Transton	Detector	functon	s	ON,	when	power	swtch	s	started 	to	
    supply	to	the	projector,	t	mght	react	as	below.
    •	 Transton	Detector	alarm	shown	below	mght	appear	on	screen,	f	the	
    projector	has	been	moved	or	re-nstalled.
    •	 Transton	Detector	alarm	mght	appear	on	screen,	f	the	MIRROR	settng 	
    has	been	changed.
    •	Keystone	adjustment	feature	has	been	prohbted	as	long	as	the	 Transton	
    Detector	functon	s	ON.
    4.1 Turning On the Transition Detector Function
    4.1-1		Use the ▲/▼ buttons on the SECURITY menu to select Transition Detector and press the ► or the 
    ENTER	button	to	dsplay	the	 Transton	Detector	
    on/off	menu.	
    	
    Select	 TURN	ON	and	the	current	angle	and	mrror	
    settng	wll	be	recorded.
    •	Ths	feature	may	not	functon	properly	f	the	projector	s	
    not	n	a	stable	poston	when	 TURN	ON	s	selected.
    4.1-2		If	ths	functon	s	set	to	TURN	ON	when	the	
    vertcal	angle	of	the	projector	or	mrror	settng	
    at	whch	the	projector	s	turned	on	s	dfferent	
    than	the	prevously	recorded	the	 Transton	
    Detector	 Alarm	wll	be	dsplayed	and	the	
    projector	wll	not	dsplay	the	nput	sgnal.
    Set	the	 Transton	Detector	off	n	the	SECURITY 	menu	to	dsplay	the	nput	sgnal.
    If	the	 Transton	Detector	 ALARM	s	dsplayed	for	about	5	mnutes	the	lamp	wll	turn 	off.	
    Ths	functon	wll	actvate	only	when	the	projector	s	started	after	the	power	
    swtch	was	turned	off.
    4.2 Setting the Transition Detector PASSWORD
    4.2-1  Use the ▲/▼ buttons on the SECURITY menu to select Transition Detector and press the ► or the ENTER button to display the 
    Transton	Detector	on/off	menu.
    4.2-2   Use the ▲/▼ buttons on the Transition 
    Detector	on/off	menu	to	select	 TURN	ON.	
    The	ENTER	PASSWORD	BOX	(small)	wll	be	
    dsplayed.
    4.2-3	
    	 Use	the	▲/▼/◄/►	buttons	to	enter	a	
    PASSWORD. 	Move 	the 	cursor 	to 	the 	r ght 	s de 	of	
    the	ENTER	PASSWORD	BOX	(small)	and	press	
    the 	
    ►	button 	to 	d splay 	the 	CHECK 	PASSWORD	
    BOX,	enter	the	same	PASSWORD	agan.
    4.2-4		 Move	the	cursor	to	the	rght	sde	of	the

    4.3 Setting the Transition Detector off
    4.3-1		 Follow	the	procedure	n	4.1-1	to	dsplay	the	 Transton	Detector	on/off	menu.
    4.3-2		 Select	 TURN	OFF	to	dsplay	the	ENTER	PASSWORD	BOX	(large).	
    Enter	the	regstered	PASSWORD	and	the	screen	wll	return	to	the	
    Transton	Detector	on/off	menu.	If	an	ncorrect	PASSWORD	s	nput	
    the	menu	wll	close.	If	necessary	repeat	the	process	from	4.3-1.
    4.4 If you have forgotten your PASSWORD
    4.4-1		 Follow	the	procedure	n	4.1-1	to	dsplay	the	 Transton	Detector	on/off	menu.
    4.4-2		 Select	 TURN	OFF	to	dsplay	the	ENTER	
    PASSWORD	BOX	(large).	 The	10	dgt	
    Inqurng	Code	wll	be	dsplayed	nsde	the	
    BOX.
    4.4-3		 Contact	your	dealer	wth	the	10	dgt	Inqurng	
    Code.	 Your	PASSWORD	wll	be	sent	after	your	
    user registration information is confirmed.
    USB STORAGE
    Pressing the ► button displays the USB STORAGE 
    KEY	CONFIG.	Menu.	
    For	more	nformaton,	please	see	the	“1)	Button

    - It may be happened that movie files or sound files cannot be reproduced properly if 
    USB	storage	does	not	have	enough	access	speed.
    -	 The	followng	formats	are	recommended	for	USB	storage
    	
    USB	memory	 FAT12/FAT16/FAT32		(NTFS	format	s	not	supported.)	
    USB	hard	dsk	 FAT12/FAT16/FAT32		(NTFS	format	s	not	supported.)
    Displaying Thumbnail Menu
    1)   Save image files in a USB storage.  Insert the USB storage into USB 
    STORAGE	port	on	the	projector.
    2)		 Change	nput	port	for	the	projector	to	USB	STORAGE	usng	COMPUTER/
    STORAGE	button	on	the	remote	control	or	INPUT/ENTER	button	on	the	
    projector	so	that	 Thumbnal	menu	below	s	appeared	on	screen.
    3)		 On	 Thumbnal	menu,	the	followng	features	are	supported.
    -	Projector	Control:	 	 Have	Easy/Advanced	Menu	on	screen	to	control	the	
    projector,	or	change	the	nput	port	to	S-VIDEO.
    -	 Thumbnal	dsplay:	 	 Dsplay	many	stored	mages	n	USB	storage	at	once.	
    -	Slde	show:	 Swtch	mages	wth	set	ntervals.
    -	Dsplay	n	full	screen:	 	
    Dsplay	one	stll	pcture	or	movng	pcture	n	full	screen.	(	It	s	
    not	n	Thumbnal	menu.)

    at	the	same	tme.
    •		 The 	OSD 	message 	“No 	Med a” 	 s	d splayed, 	 f	 there 	 s	no 	memory 	card 	w th	
    USB	card	reader.

    Controlling the projector
    Whle	 Thumbnal	menu	s	on	screen,	some	buttons	on	the	projector	and	remote	
    control	are	assgned	some	desgnated	functons	to	support	the	menu	operaton.	
    If	normal	EASY 	or	Advanced	MENU	on	screen,	or	INPUT 	SELECT	functon	s	
    requred,	select	PJ	CONTROL 	tem	on	the	Thumbnal	menu.
    	
    Use ▲, ▼, ◄ and ► buttons to move a cursor to the PJ CONTROL item in 
    Thumbnal	menu.		Push	ENTER	button	on	the	remote	control	or	INPUT/ENTER	
    button	on	the	projector	to	decde	the	selected	tem.	Followng	tems	can	be	
    controlled.

    • File name can be displayed up to 16 characters including file extension.
    •   The characters of following languages can be used for file name. If other 
    languages are used, the file name is not displayed properly, but the content 
    can	be	dsplayed.
    	
    Englsh,	French,	German,	Spansh,	Italan,	Norwegan,	Dutch,	Portuguese,	
    Swedsh,	Russan,	Fnnsh,	Polsh	and	 Turksh.
    •		 Folders	n	USB	storage	can	be	recognzed	up	to	3	layers.	 The	prorty	of	
    thumbnail display for image files is as follows.
    •		 Pcture	may	not	be	dsplayed	correctly,	dependng	on	the	connectng	devce	n	
    case	that	an	extended	USB	cable	s	used.
    •		 Response	tme	mght	vary	dependng	on	each	mage	contents	when	swtchng	
    pages, loading files and playing each movie.
    •		 When	there	are	followng	cons	on	thumbnal	dsplay,	t	mght	be	non-complant	
    file. Check the saved file in USB storage.

    Specify and select image file number in thumbnail display as finishing number for “SLIDE SHOW”.
    1.  Select [STOP] using ▲, ▼, ◄ and ► buttons, then push ENTER 
    button	on	the	remote	control	or	INPUT/ENTER	button	on	the	
    projector,	so	that	[STOP]	settng	can	be	selected.
    2.   Change [STOP] setting (range from 1 to 999) using ▲ and ▼ 
    buttons.
    3.		 Get	out	from	the	status	that	[STOP]	settng	s	selectable,	by	
    pushng	ENTER	button	on	the	remote	control	or	INPUT/ENTER	
    button	on	the	projector.

    Displaying an image in full screen
    One selected image file on Thumbnail menu can be displayed in full screen.  
    Use ▲, ▼, ◄ and ► buttons to move a cursor to select an image on Thumbnail 
    menu.		
    Then,	push	ENTER	button	on	the	remote	control	or	INPUT/ENTER	button	on	the	
    projector	to	dsplay	the	selected	mage	n	full	screen.		
    Whle	n	full	screen	mode,	f	one	of	these	buttons	s	pushed	one	more	tme,	the	
    projector	s	back	to	 Thumbnal	dsplay.
    1) Button operation for still image
    Whle	stll	mage	s	shown	n	full	screen,	the	followng	operaton	can	be	made	from	
    the	control	panel	on	the	projector	or	the	remote	control.
    There are two type of KEY configurations for ▲/▼/◄/► button available. (USB	
    STORAGE	of	the	OPTION	menu)
