71 Turning Map Info On/Off You can turn on or turn off the data fields that are displayed on the Map screen. When you turn them off, you have more room for the Map display. (The Default is Show Map Info.) a. While in the Position Mode of the Map display, press [MENU]. b. The first item should be Hide Map Info . If it is not highlighted, use S and T to select it. c. 72 You are now returned to the Map screen with no data fields. With the Map Info hidden, press W or X to go back to the cursor mode. Notice that the bearing and distance to the cur- sor are shown at the bottom of the map, together with the scale. If the cursor happens to be on a map object, the name of the object is displayed.
